Cabin 1549
Jul 2017
The cabin was clean and large enough to comfortably fit our family of 5. Although the photos I have seen posted made the room appear larger than it was. The air conditioning wasn't working that well in our room, and I think that is due to the location. The room was on the 10th floor next to elevators and right off the stairs. So, warm air filtered in from the pool deck on 11 to the 10th floor. We called twice about the air conditioning, and they responded quickly. The second time it did seem to make a small improvement. This was our first cruise in over 17 years, and our first Royal Caribbean cruise, so I'm not sure how to compare the sizing to other cruise ships. The bathrooms were small, but we did have 2 bathrooms in our stateroom which was a plus.

Cabin 1549

The cabin itself was dark and dingy. This was from the lack of sunshine and the old tired colors of the carpet and bedding. The main bathroom was EXTREMELY small - water flow in the sink was minimal. The second bathroom off the bedroom was typical size. We experienced very loud noise each night from the deck above - sounded like metal scrapping across the deck and chairs or lounge chairs being re-positioned. We notified the cabin attendant both nights who said he reported it to his manager - but nothing changed.
