We took my 95yr mother in law on the cruise, the 3 of us had a great time, Health protocols were followed , we saw no evidence of Covid. So no health issues.
The food was excellent, the restaurant staff in The Symphony Restaurant were amazing. Danilo the Maitre' Dand Robert our head waiter deserve special mention, their service was exemplary. Robert made my mother in law (and us) feel very ...
My husband and I were invited by my sister and her family to cruise to New Zealand on the Majestic Princess to celebrate her covid-delayed 30th wedding anniversary. This was our 3rd cruise to NZ on 3 different cruise lines and our 2nd cruise since Covid.
The Majestic Princess is using the Medallion App system. This means you can order food, drinks, check schedules, find your travel mates, book ...
We boarded the ship after they had returned from another cruise with 700 - 800 COVID cases on board. Because of this we were delayed boarding for about 4 hours during which time they thoroughly cleaned the ship while keeping us informed by text messages. Credit to Princess for this as to my knowledge we had no or very few cases on our cruise.
Boarding was a little chaotic due to the delay but ...
We have just completed 21 day trans pacific LA to Auckland and had a great time onboard this beautiful ship. The food in the main dining rooms and the cafe was excellent and the service throughout the ship was some of the best we have had with all the staff being friendly and efficient and really out to impress and make us feel welcome. The ship was spotless throughout and constantly being cleaned ...
After the original Alaskan cruise was cancelled in 2020 I decided to rebook one for 2022. I took my family this time as well as a close friend. I chose the Majestic Princess as I wanted the experience of a newer ship & it was absolutely gorgeous. My family were only able to have their vacation time during the summer so we chose mid July for our cruise. Other than the weather that week it ...
We chose this cruise as it was a decent price, had the 11 day land / sea option that I really wanted to do.
We flew from Vancouver to Anchorage 3 days before our actual start date. I recommend booking your flights along way in advance as the dates do not line up well with the sailing / land tour start dates. Flight cost was $280 CDN pp one way.
Hotels in Anchorage are expensive! Expect $250 ...
Took 14 family members on this cruise with the full included beverage and WiFi package and it worked out wonderfully. We were able to eat together each night in the restaurant and enjoyed excellent meals. The service on this ship was outstanding with friendly and efficient staff in every category. Enjoyed the naturalist lectures and the entertainment, which due to the 2/3 capacity were readily ...
Princess does it right, even with the issues that Covid brought to our cruising world (and the world in general). I completed all required information on the web version of the cruise personalizer as I had read that many were having issues with the app on their phone or tablet. Once I completed all that I could I then downloaded the medallion app to my phone (the latest version) and finished what ...
My wife and I traveled for the first time on Princess to Alaska. We were on the Majestic and traveled 14 days from Vancouver BC and return. Overall I would give the cruise an 8.
The most positive portions were the following:
Guest Services- very helpful and always had a smile. They treated each guest with respect and showed patience at all times. Katryna in particular was awesome to ...
There are 10 of us in our family. Our son and daughter-in-law and their two children from MI, our daughter and son-in-law and their two children from TX, and us from TX. This cruise was planned for 2020 and canceled, planned again for 2021 and canceled, so we knew we needed to make "third time a charm" and sail in 2022.
We have sailed many times, and wanted to share with our adult children ...
