This was a dream destination to see the beautiful state of Alaska. A chance to get away with family and friends and enjoy being pampered aboard the majestic princess. Our first day at sea we went to the spa for a couples massage. The massage was ok even tho we couldn’t speak the language of the ones doing it we were satisfied. Afterwards they gave us a speech and some lotion. Come to find out that ...

Great times from start to finish!

This Cruise was truly great times from start to finish. Upon arriving at the pier without Medallion pre check-in, we were on the ship within 15 minutes. Of course I'm Platinum so we were on board just after the elites but it was really an almost no wait experience. Upon embarkation we were warmly greeted by the staff as usual and quickly proceeded to explore the ship. It's the typical princess ...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 8/22/2021 voyage on the Majestic Princess. We visited Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Glacier Bay National Park. Our port of Embarkation/Debarkation was Seattle, and since we were both familiar with Seattle, we did not visit this area and flew in and out on arrival and departure days. I think this was the fifth sailing since the COVID pause and it was truly ...

Alaska 50th Anniversary Cruise

Sailed 1st time on Majestic Princess 4th time to Alaska ports. Ship was about 60% (estimate) full, lots of staff/crew to passengers. Very nice ship, but seemed to lack open space other ships we've been on. Gym was a bit small, sometimes crowded. Food was excellent and portions were well sized, and you could always ask for more. Staff was friendly at all times and very attentive. ...

So happy to be back to Alaska with Princess

This is my 5th cruise and my 3rd with Princess. This last trip we were on the Majestic Princess. It was nice not having so many people on the ship. I can't give feedback on the shows or night life but I can give feedback on the food. We ate at our designated 5 pm dining room (4 star). The food was good but we wanted to eat more food. One night we dined at Crown Grill (5 star). One ...

We just got back from our cruise a few days ago. Overall it was a wonderful cruise. Pros: 1). I was happy that both passengers and crew were required to show proof of vaccination and negative test results within 72 hours 2) Crew was great - more relaxed than past cruises (eg., Carnival) but I’ve never had better service 3). Destinations were wonderful 4). New medallions and app ...

The trip was a complete bust weather wise. Seven nights in Alaska with thick fog and low cloud cover. We didn’t see one Mt peak or range and glacier bay was fogged in. Overall this was a large waste of money and time. Regarding the ship: The interior is beautiful. The hospitality crew was fantastic, as we have come to expect on most cruises. However, only one dining room is open for ...

Cruise Gemstone for a Milestone

I'm kind of a romantic, every mild stone wedding anniversary event I surprise my spouse with a vacation to a location that fits into moment. For example the Milestone for 30th wedding anniversary is pearl so I surprised my wife with a vacation to Oahu, Hawaii (Pearl Harbor). The milestone 40th wedding anniversary is the ruby stone so my search and imagination of the vacation to identify the ...

The Good & Not so Good of our First Alaskan Cruise

Review for Majestic Princess to Alaska

We choose the Majestic princess because it was a relatively new ship and there weren't a lot of options right now with the cruising industry starting back up. Overall, we were very pleased with the ship, food, and it's amenities. The good... Embarkation and Debarkation were a breeze, I thought there would be long lines despite all the problems with the APP but fortunately we had the first ...

Typical Princess

We simply wanted to cruise again. We really liked the ship, the stateroom was very comfortable and the bed was amazing! Plenty of room for storing clothes, lots of hangers and shelves. Princess has introduced the medallion, which eliminates a lot of touching. You walk up to your cabin, your picture comes up on the wall by the door, it unlocks and you’re in. You can also check on that whether ...
