Large Interior Stateroom (MM) Cabin Reviews

Surprised not to have a fridge, but functional. The crew always kept is squared away.

Very loud on arrival at every port because of bow thrusters & engine noise. Otherwise quiet and comfortable. Toilet would not flush, right away, while in port.

We chose an inside cabin to save money for other expenses on the trip. It was great being able to sleep later without sunlight. Also, this was a nice quiet location away from the mechanical noises.

Close to perfection! : Cabin M511
Inside cabin.  So much storage space.  Lighting makes you feel you are in an outside cabin.  Larger than usual space.Seems well insulated for sound.  Enjoyed very much.  First time in an inside cabin.

Nothing tainted my opinion of this cruise more than the dilapidated state of our room. To say it was comparable to a one star Motel is gratuitous. From the broken light switches, cracked hinges, uneven cabinets, cracked light fixtures, dirty sofa, rust stains, sewage smell, dirty mirrors, and eighty's motif it couldn't have been worse. But it was. Our A/C did not work until day four. Our shower never worked right. We constantly worked it to keep the water warm. The front desk staff was appalling apathetic to our concerns and we had to call every day for help. We heard other passengers complain of flooding and sewage smell also. We were terribly dissapointed with our room service. This ship needs to be mothballed because there are too many problems to fix. In the end we were offered a cabin upgrade. This should have been given to us the day we reported these problems. We will never cruise Holland America again!  Read Less

And - being on the lower decks allows me to get a little exercise by "doing" the stairs. (Helps counter-act all the amazing food). Incredible value!!!!! Read Less
