Negatives - health and safety issues.
1) We question the practice of the same member of staff responsible for cleaning the cabin also being responsible for bringing coffee/milk new cups etc to the stateroom.i.e. the steward comes straight from cleaning the bathroom/toilet to delivering new cups/coffee/milk etc. This is not the fault ...

As usual, we chose this Oceania cruise for the itinerary, the food, and the service and it did not disappoint. This was our third Oceania cruise, and although we rated this “very good”, we did pass along to Oceania several criticisms, which we hope will be considered “constructive”.

This was a great experience. Service was great, food was great, ship is beautiful and the ports were wonderful. Some of the most beautiful spots in the world. One word of caution. The full day expeditions were very long, 8 hours, and way too much time on a bus. Three stops and over 3 hours on the bus. *First cruise on Oceania, although 3rd cruise in a "R ship", so we knew what to expect when it came to the tiny cabin shower, public spaces, size, etc. Compared to Azamara's ships this recently refurbished ship is marginally better.
*Itinerary was good but some of the port departure times were too early and detracted from the on-shore "tourist" opportunity.

The above is what I was told by the Deputy Captain when I finally managed to corner a member of the deck department to ask why some new lashings hadn't had a whipping or a back-splice put onto the cut ends.
