Our third Oceania Suite and one Vista Suite. January 2018: two limp, mostly dead fronds on an Areca Palm in living room. Couch in tv room? Prepare to hit the floor. See above. Linens and bed: great!!!! Pool, fine; fitness, fine; La Reserve x 3 nights=perfect!!! So worth it. Polo=common. Jacques and Toscana=can be good...not always. Dining room lunch (rainy days) was a very ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

Ports of call were good - not excellent! Why stop at locations that have nothing to offer? An example woud be Hilo, Hawaii. The destination personnel were not well trained. Priority guests were not treated like priorities! In most situations - waitlist was an imaginary item. Basically I would say the ship personnel were very friendly and dedicated employees. Upper management needs to ...

We recently did the Christmas and New Years cruise on Cunards QM2 and to say we were disappointed was an understatement. We have cruised with Cunard 19 times now and this has got to have been the worst one we have been on.Everything that attracts a Cunard passenger is slowly but surely being whittled away. Unfortunately as far as i can see Carnival is your typical American corporate company its all ...

Never again Seabourn

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We normally sail on Crystal, however we were told how nice Seabourn is so we decided to give it a try. It is so underwhelming and disappointing. Stateroom- Suite is very nice. Large and luxurious with lots of storage. I would have given it 5 stars except for the antiquated small tv. Food- Nothing special and definitely lacking creativity. Menu is the same in everyday in all dining ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

I know the caribbean was hit by hurricanes last year.. our stops in San Juan and Martinique were a joke.. The entire towns were both closed .. Nothing and I mean nothing was open .. The small town(Ille De Trois) on Martinique was supposed to be really nice and get us away from Fort De France where the regular ships dock.. But there was nothing to do on shore. Now for the food.. unremarkable ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Silver Muse

We chose Silver Sea because of the Travel & Leisure review. We are sorry we did. The office staff who booked our reservation proved to be incompetent and unavailable. I had to go to senior management to handle the simplest of questions. Then as time progressed important facts of the cruise kept changing, like the formal dress policy for which my wife had purchase dresses. This continued with the ...

Shame on the management of this company

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Star Pride

First - Windstar engages in flat out False Advertising (in our case -$200 in ship board credits per passenger). They were given ample opportunity to make this right and simply could not find a way to make it right. First - and last - time Windstar customer and they couldn’t care less. Business must be great when you can alienate new customers so easily Second - communications are horrendous. ...

Decor no substitute for service and gracious attention

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

We went to join our friends from Brussels. The Regent Explorer was built in 2016. Hard to believe. Feels like an old ship that has been redecorated. If you are on Deck 5 aft, the elevator bank almost butts right up to the stairwell. Wonder who passed that inspection. We were not made aware of our cabin number until two days before embarkation. For good reason. We paid $11,000 for ...

The QM2 is not what it used to be

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

we didn't have to fly and we had been on the ship before. This was the fourth time we had been on the QM2 and it is certainly not what it used to be. The service in Britannia was excellent as always but the service in the kings court was lackadaisical. On previous cruises we never felt that the drinks were over-priced but that is certainly not the case now. I feel as though Cunard is ...

This was my third time on QM2- I was on the cruise last year to the Carrib. I feel that things are slipping on this ship. The food was just awful at my 8:30 sitting in Brittania. I would call the portions childrens . Dull, no sauce to spark up the flavors. The deserts were just awful. When have you ever been on a cruise in the Carrib that did not offer Baked Alaska??? Cherries Juble had a stale ...
