My husband wanted to see the Caribbean so we booked this cruise. The staff and food onboard were amazing. The excursions were ok. Entertainment was lacking. There was very little to do onboard after 10:00 unless you wanted to sit in the bar.
Tried all for speciality restaurants and the food was amazing. The service was a little slow but it gave us time to get to know our table mates.

My husband & I have over 300 days on Seabourn and lots of wonderful memories. This cruise was not one of them.
From Embarkation to Disembarkation it was certainly not a 6 Star experience. Embarkation was a joke totally disorganized. We were originally given a 4pm time and got that changed to 12.30. The hall was packed at 12.15 - at least 3/4 of the guests were there waiting.
The service ...
Navigator is the oldest and smallest of the RSS fleet. Being so small meant it could sail on the Amazon, although we were stuck on a sandbank for several hours.
On deck there is a very small pool, with no easy access, two jacuzzi and steamroom on 11 floor.. Pool side loungers in the shade were insufficient and the walking running track was limited
The ships facilities are tired, only one ...
We booked this cruise for 2021 and it was cancelled, so we rebooked for 2022. A couple of weeks before sailing I found a review on this site from a couple who sailed in July in the very same cabin we had reserved (8023). I must admit I was rather concerned when I read their litany of complaints:- Dirty, wear and tear, aged, A/C not good, shower not good etc. However the cabin was a total contrast ...
Special birthday cruise with Cunard in the middle of May 2022 was the reason for this cruise plus it seemed good value as it was a re positioning journey finally ending in Alaska. We had a good ball cabin kept immaculate by our excellent steward and took dinner at 8.30 (a bit late for us).All meals were excellent as per usual.Vegetables are never cooked enough though making them too inedible for ...
We chose this cruise because although we had sailed QM2 several times Transatlantic, we had never been on the QE. The dates fit our schedule—sail the QM2 over to Southampton, a week in England and sail the QE back Southampton to Fort Lauderdale. Our leg was the beginning of the QE’s longer leg, she will be sailing over a month, all the way to Alaska. My observations:
Embarkation in Southampton ...
This is the first negative review I have ever posted on this site.
Our cruise on the Oceania Marina from Miami first week in March 2022 was as rough sea for 3 days on our way to Curacao and coming back to Miami. I discussed this with some employees on the ship. They were told that because there were only less than 400 passengers(normal 1,200 passengers), they did not use the Stabilizers because ...
We have sailed many times with Regent. ALWAYS STANDARDS HAVE BEEN HIGH BUT NOT SO MUCH ON THIS CRUISE. still great staff BUT the organisation re travel was lousy. Forced to fly via Heathrow both ways when direct flights available, dumped on day of departure in a beach club that was 1 star and over crowded to a level that was crazy. Put on a minibus with 10 passengers plus all luggage, crammed in ...
Choose this cruise because I really like small ships and I was very interested in the sailing etc.
As others have described the “raising of the sails” is very dramatic and fun to watch for the first 2 or 3 times.
Crew is obviously focused on the care and maintenance of the sails etc. but as far as I could tell except for the day when we sailed with a sister ship the sails were just ...
Regent is one of our favorite cruise lines and we heard they were launching a new ship with a cruise in and out of Miami . We decided that because we live in Florida that a cruise in and out of our home state would be easy, even off for whatever reason even if we ended up testing positive for Covid . Worst case they would tell us to go home and quarantine ..
We booked when we were told no ...
