I wanted to take one of the sail yachts but the departure and arrival locations were different and astronomical for air fare, so we settled on this one out of San Juan. Easy to get to, not too expensive for airfare. The destinations of St. Thomas, St. Barts, St. Martin, Montserrat, and the BVI was an attraction too.

We like Regent and since this is a new ship with the right itinerary and the right length of sailing we booked only 3 months our when the vaccination requirement was dropped. We had a guaranteed suite and the one we were assigned was one level up, on a low deck as we asked and almost center of the ship. That worked out very well.

This was our 4'th cruise on the Riviera. We loved the refit(or reimagining, if you wish). The food overall was still excellent. The tea service was a bit nicer than in 2022(more selection)If you do scones at tea ASK for Clotted Cream. Otherwise you get whipped Cream.
