I ended up on this cruise because my parents were booked on it and I elected to join them in a cabin for three. I'm 60 and my folks are in their 80s so we like different things.

This is my fifth cruise and the fourth for my husband. We loved Crystal, but when they went bankrupt we went searching for another small luxury cruise line. Regent has bathtubs in some of the mid level cabins, and they had trips that began and ended in the US. (my husband's back can't handle flying over the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean). We chose Oceania because of the reputation for great food and personal service as well as relaxed COVID rules.

This is our 14th Oceania cruise. We booked a 15th cruise and I wish we hadn't. 15 is "gold." One of the perks was supposed to be a complimentary massage. I just looked, and it seems they are no longer honoring that. It seems to have disappeared from their web page. I chose this cruise for my husband and myself to try Oceania Cruises as we usually go on Celebrity and we wanted to go to the Amazon. We will not go on Oceania again!
We met fabulous fellow guests on the cruise. The dining staff and cabin staff were wonderful. The reservation desk and concierge had some of the rudest people I've ever met. You are nickeled and dimed.
