Regent Care Travel Insurance Is Unethical and Ruined Everything

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

I ended up on this cruise because my parents were booked on it and I elected to join them in a cabin for three. I'm 60 and my folks are in their 80s so we like different things. The good: * The staff were exceedingly friendly, patient and professional. I hope they are well-paid because they deserve to be. * The entertainment, surprisingly, was great. It wasn't just the crew doing ...

Great Cabin but Lost Weight

This is my fifth cruise and the fourth for my husband. We loved Crystal, but when they went bankrupt we went searching for another small luxury cruise line. Regent has bathtubs in some of the mid level cabins, and they had trips that began and ended in the US. (my husband's back can't handle flying over the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean). So we booked two cruises. First, the positives. The cabin ...

I only have a few observations: Overall, the staff was genial and helpful My room steward was excellent, well trained and responsive. Bar service in the Chartroom was expert, cheerful and well trained; they ran out of my preferred brand. The competence of the Wine Waiters in Britannia was very uneven; some were excellent and others needed more training.I also perceived a shortage of ...

We chose Oceania because of the reputation for great food and personal service as well as relaxed COVID rules. My wife and I are experienced cruisers (25+ cruises). For this cruise there was the good and the bad . The good: Food at the terrace String quartet Seaside band The bedroom The bed (very comfortable) Ability to bring your own wine Production shows The ...

This is our 14th Oceania cruise. We booked a 15th cruise and I wish we hadn't. 15 is "gold." One of the perks was supposed to be a complimentary massage. I just looked, and it seems they are no longer honoring that. It seems to have disappeared from their web page. Since we were last on the Riviera the prices have been pumped up to the point of painful. A massage is around $225 or more for 50 ...

A tad disappointing

I chose this as I have cruised on Silversea and Crystal and wanted to see what Regent was like. I expected the "remarkable luxury" as stated by Regent-- which may have been an over expectation. It turned out to be no where fulfilled. I booked a penthouse Suite which included a pre cruise hotel stay. Regrettably my hotel room was dirty and all Regent guests were not given the a la carte breakfast ...

Amazon on Oceania

Review for a South America Cruise on Marina

I chose this cruise for my husband and myself to try Oceania Cruises as we usually go on Celebrity and we wanted to go to the Amazon. We will not go on Oceania again! We met fabulous fellow guests on the cruise. The dining staff and cabin staff were wonderful. The reservation desk and concierge had some of the rudest people I've ever met. You are nickeled and dimed. Our cabin was tired and ...

Nice Ship and Friendly Crew; Passengers Not So Much

This was our first Oceania cruise - a 51 day cruise through South America departing Florida on December 18, 2022 and arriving in Santiago, Chile on February 7. Very scenic and interesting itinerary - my wife and I saw and learned a great deal. As context, we have slightly over 400 days of cruising in the past 12 years on various cruise lines including Princess, Holland America, Celebrity and ...

Oceania did not live up to its reputation on this 51 day cruise

We choose this cruise for the itinerary and because we planned to transfer to a Viking expedtion ship to have a closer look at Antarctica. The ship is old and in need of a total do over. Everything was inconsistent on this ship, except for our housekeepers, butler and most of ship staff. The food was sometimes good, sometimes awful. Our room was very large, but the furniture very worn and ...

Great Expectations Not Met

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We chose this cruise/cruise line because RSSC has a great reputation, people recommended it; and we've never been to most of the ports. The ship: old, but beautifully updated. Nothing was dirty or stained or worn. Very clean. From public spaces to rooms. Nice touch the walk-in closet. I'm not sure any other cruise line offers this. Butler service was great but we found we really ...
