I have a fused polio ankle. My husband has occasional balance/ walking issues. We chose this itinerary because Viking has an included level 1 excursion included at each stop. This means few steps, fairly even walkways, handrails, not too many cobbles. My wife is of Scandinavian descent so we wanted to see the fjords of Norway and touch Denmark. We were able to cruise up close to very small villages and experience the friendly atmosphere of the country. The small cruise ship is the perfect size. We wanted to see a part of the world that is not easily accessible and also beautiful. The few days at sea allowed us a very good opportunity to explore and enjoy the various amenities provided on the ship. All the crew were tremendously friendly and helpful.
