Went with others who chose this boat. After going aboard, we understood their dysfunctional website better. No attention to detail.
On a cruise whose principal attraction is the scenery, the windows in the common areas were dirty. The scrolling info TV channel that has a view out the front of the ship was dirty.
Smallest stateroom we've ever had.
Mediocre food.
Couple of exercise ...
We had been told by everyone we knew who had cruised that Cunard is one of the best lines to travel with!
As this was our first cruise we had done loads of homework about what to expect, everyone had hyped it up so much, we were probably expecting far too much.
I think lots of little irritating things at the start of our experience has marred our overall view of cruising.
We were told, ...
I booked this cruise over a year ago, specifically for the itinerary and size of the ship, allowing access to smaller fjords. Regent claim six star all inclusive of premium wines. Ran out of French rose on third day. No NZ wines at all! We did two back to back cruises and despite re-stocking in Copenhagen they ran out of Sancerre and Pouilly Fuisse 13 days into a 20 day cruise. In the end we bought ourselves some wine in Kristiansund. If we could find a decent supplier why couldn't they?
This was our sixth cruise (140 ...
Viking Star – Part of its maiden voyage from Barcelona to Bergen Norway and took the Viking add on to Iceland.
The ship is fantastic – overall an excellent design, very high tech. There is plenty of space so you never feel crowded. The infinity pool is small, but seemed adequate for the amount of people that used it. State rooms are plenty big enough with quality beds and the best bathrooms of ...
