While looking for a way to escape the last of winter up here in northern Canada, we chose this 7 night Mexican Riviera cruise. The ships public areas are beautiful. Restaurants are pleasing, and the stateroom beds in short, are fabulous.
Getting to the port from LAX, be advised as of sailing (April 8/23) the airport has changed where you get taxis, shuttles, Lyft or Ubers. Just be aware of ...
CABIN: We booked a balcony cabin. The cabin was nice and spacious. The furnishings were a bit outdated, and some drawers were very squeaky, but overall, the cabin was very good.
DINING: The Windjammer was large and had a lot of foods from different cuisines. All the food was very good. The Main Dining Room was a little lacking, as service was very slow and portion sizes were mediocre. We also ...
I am appalled by the amount of negative reviews. We took 6 days California coast cruise and have nothing even slightly bad to say, maybe it’s because we don’t feel entitled. Let me break this down
1. Service - every crew member, and I mean every single one, greets you with smile. People who work their butts off 12 hours shifts for 6-9 months still keep a smile on their faces. Room gets cleaned ...
I chose this cruise for me and my two sisters who have never taken a cruise. This cruise line has been my favorite in the past. I am a gold member. it was completely disappointing.
Our cabin and cabin attendant were pretty much the best part of the cruise.
The communication was terrible. with only the app on our phones, it was difficult to make a plan for entertainment. in the past there ...
Chose this ship because it had a Pickleball court and we wanted to play a lot on sea days. On the first day we headed to deck 19 to play only to discover that the plastic playing surface did not allow the ball to bounce at all. The net was in disrepair and everything was covered in soot from the smoke stack. Not possible to play and sure why the court even exists.
On day 2 I went to the Fitness ...
Let me start by saying…we desperately needed a vacation…and cruising is our favorite type of vacation.
In the end, the vacation was a success!
We got the rest and relaxation we needed after 4 years of not going anywhere. We were sad to leave at the end – and this is the whole point of a successful vacation.
I would like to give a review of the various experiences on this ship.

Booked this California Coastal to proceed our Mexican Riviera cruise. Package included classic drink, internet, and paid gratuity.
What happened to luxury included? Embarkation had porta potties and double bussing to get to ship.
Lobster dinner is limited to one lobster or pay $16 for additional. Breakfast in your stateroom is $11 if you want any egg , bacon or cheese platter. ...
The Emerald Princess is a roomy ship with plenty of outdoor space. I was most impressed with all of the staff. Shows were great. I did notice some cutbacks in the choices of food in the MDR. Overall, it was a great trip. Plenty of daily actives and enjoyed the pool at the back of the ship. Our third trip on the Emerald, we had never gone thru the Panama Canal or been to the ports of Huatulco, ...
We have went on many cruises and have always enjoyed our time. The Miracle is a smaller ship, you can feel the waves if you’re on the back or front of the ship. Food in the dining room was nice but not excellent, they have made it where you have to pay for room service and menu is not that great. Staff was great!
The last two days were not good for us, we decided to eat breakfast out by the ...
We had a very enjoyable cruise onboard the Celebrity Solstice for 7 days. The ship is elegant – lots of glamour with plush seating areas, intimate dining options and well-appointed bars, shops, and other venues, such as the theater, fitness centre, spa and the solarium.
The 2 main things that stand out for us on this cruise were the food and the staff and service they provided.
The food, ...
