We have sailed Princess a few times and like their product. The staff on this ship exceeded our expectations! We had the best bartenders of any cruise, especially Jackie in the Explorer's Lounge, Pablo in the Casino and Mike and John in the Wheelhouse bar. Entertainment. Poor overall. Didn’t warm to the cruise director personally, prefer a more mature director. No decent shows, only went to theatre once and that was enough.

My wife and I went on our second Princess cruise,. The Crown is a little older ship but still pretty nice. I was surprised that the average age for this weekend cruise was much younger than the Caribbean cruise we were on before. Having flown in to LAX early in the morning, we were greeted by the Princess staff at the airport. We had about a 3 hour wait ahead of us so the staff suggested we go to the coffee shop in the iconic Theme building.
