Great First Cruise

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

Amazing ship! Even at full capacity felt like the ship was not that crowded. I wish the port times were longer but found plenty to do on the ship. Crew was amazing, we were always greeted and felt very welcome. The food in the MDR was good! The buffet was very good and was different every night. Plenty of activities while at sea. One of my favorite thing about the ship was the observation ...

We were beyond impressed with ship from the moment we were in line to embark. We boarded by 11am and were in Sugarcanes Mojito bar sipping Mojitos by noon. This turned out to be a favorite haunt with their delicious variety of Mojitos. Coconut/Pineapple, Ginger to name a couple. The ship was very clean and well organized. You would never know there were 4500+ people, no area ever seemed crowded. ...

My First NCL Cruise!! (it was great!!!)

I've mostly sailed on Carnival and Princess. We did a family thing and sailed on NCL. My first time and I loved it! I stayed in the studio's, which is a small room with a bed, small shower, and separate toilet. You have a video view of the sea so you don't feel claustrophobic. Ive been in inside rooms that wern't much bigger, it was not a problem for me being in a small room. Plenty of storage, I ...

Why chose this cruise because the repositioning option was very reasonable and gave us a chance to see Victoria and Vancouver. The food on the cruise was amazing. We are in the complimentary restaurants only. The Manhattan Room had great food and a beautiful view. If you arrive before opening and get in line you can get a table along the big windows with a great view. The food in the buffet was ...

I decided to go on a solo cruise for the first time. I wanted it to be more than 7 days and I liked the itinerary for the Bliss from Los Angeles to Miami. I started with an interior room and upgraded to an oceanview and received the promotional bonus for that ($50 off each excursion, 2 free speciality dining offers & 300 free wifi minutes). Embarkation in LA was not bad. I arrived at the ...

The NCL Bliss exceeded our expectations and is an upgrade f.i. compared with the NCL Getaway. It is a busy ship, but restaurants and pools are always accessable without waiting. Lots of loungers available at the pool, even on seedays! Dining is a very nice experience, we special liked dining at Los Lobos, Ocean Blue and Cagney's. Complementary dining at Savor or Taste was nice, good menu's ...

NCL is my first choice

This cruise was tied to our dream trip to see the Rose Bowl Parade in person. We got a great price for the Haven suite. The food was outstanding (we do not partake of the general buffet) and the speciality restaurants were fantastic. My only food complaint (and I made this known to NCL) was that the dinner menu in The Haven never changed. That is why we chose a speciality restaurant 3 times ...

Anniversary vacation. First time cruising with NCL and we really enjoyed it. Overall we spend a little over $4000 the whole week for both my husband and my self. which included 3 spa treatments, portraits, excursions, unlimited drinks (alcohol and specialty coffee drinks), gratuity, unlimited wifi, and a balcony stateroom. We took advantage of our drink package getting Starbucks coffee’s every ...

Beautiful Ship, Great Staff

This was our first cruise since Covid, and we had never experienced a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We had a wonderful experience with just a few glitches. 1) The ship itself is gorgeous, lots of attention to details, beautiful artwork and sculptures. 2) The staff, 100% of everyone we encountered, went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I’ve done many cruises and have always run ...
