Right off the top the ship’s layout is dated and confusing. Almost every level of the ship is dark and gloomy even on the brightest of days. Getting to our cabin we were met with the most putrid smell both in the cabin and throughout the hallway. To the very last day the smell was present. A dinner credit was allotted to my mother-in-law to help resolve the issue and this meal (had at the sushi ...
Fourth time on this ship, and the last. Most things were the same, but some worse than in the past. Cabin was clean and service good. The shows as usual were very good. The cruse staff especially a lady maned Queen Mary was very good. Deon the CD very energetic, but not super friendly. Food was mediocre, not as good as in the psdt. Dinner service was very good. The worst was breakfast. ...
This was our 12th cruise and 5th one with Carnival. I'm definitely a fan of the FUN ships. Embarkation in Long Beach is pretty streamlined. We always fly in a day early and stay on the Queen Mary the night before. Just get up and walk across the parking lot and your off. It makes it so easy and the Queen Mary is such fun.
The ship was in great shape. Not the traditional crazy colors that ...
I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to sail on the Navigator of the Seas with Royal Caribbean, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. From the moment I stepped on board, it became evident that this cruise was far from the luxurious and enjoyable experience I had anticipated.
One of the first aspects that left a sour taste in my mouth was the bar service. The staff ...
I've cruised on Carnival Radiance 3 times so far and each time it meets basic standards. The drink package is always a must and i love having a cabin on deck 6 bringing you close to the entertainment. I made the mistake of picking a cabin in the rear of the ship and on the last day at sea it was super rocky and i got a little seasick but that was my fault. The ship is a little outdated, but it is ...
Eight of us including my 87-yr-old mother just got off the Discovery Princess after 7 fun days. This was my 12th cruise (3rd with Princess); one will never get all of your favorite things on one cruise. Many things that others complained about were not a problem for us. Being Canadian, we spent hours in the hot tubs even on the cool days and enjoyed watching movies from there. The ratio of deck ...
Embarkation : arrived at cruise terminal around noon, check-in was the only time during this entire cruise when we had to show our passports, didn’t even bother with boarding passes, whole process took less than 30 minutes, luggages already at our room after lunch.
Guests : fairly diverse range of age / ethnicity, more folks in their 50s and up, of course. Not too many people using canes / ...
We selected this cruise line and ship for the purpose of celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. While the first day went smoothly, we encountered issues when it came time to sleep. The stateroom had a significant amount of creaking and knocking sounds, which greatly impacted our ability to rest. Throughout the seven nights, we were only able to get one decent night's sleep, leaving us feeling ...
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cruise! From the customers service, the friendless, the food, the music, Polly the Cruze director, the pools and hot tub, shopping, rooms. Everyone is so personal. We exorcisms want to give a shout out to Budiarta our State room attendant. He was amazing!!! He made us feel like family. Always happy, always smiling and always friendly. The rooms are ...
We chose this short cruise with family from brochure advertising. The program to register for this cruise was updated once and was the cause of hours of needless searching to complete registration. Despite the continuous hype on the last full day promoting a 10 star cruise, our experience was less than satisfactory. One waiter’s rude attitude at an evening meal caused us to reevaluate the ...
