O began to scare me a bit here. We have generally been happy with the cruises over the years. This time here are my pros and concerns

We just returned from our Pacific Coast 7 night cruise. We arrived at our designated 11 o'clock time and the lines were long. They were long because the check-in process was very old time. Even though we did the complete check-in on line, it didn't seem to matter since everything had to be redone manually. Slow and tedious. We chose it because of Ravings about O’s food. 1. -The buffet always had a better variety than the MDR and the food was usually ok although the chef seems to fear spice. We love Oceania, this was our first cruise on the Regatta. We will be doing a similar itinerary on the Regatta in September. Our room steward Sudi and his crew took excellent care of us. This was our third cruise with Oceania. Once on Riveria and the other on Marina. Those two cruises were wonderful.
We were impressed by the quality of the foods in all of the restaurants and the friendliness of all staff.
