This is our 3rd cruise to Hawaii and the best. Loved the Crown Princess. It was well maintained and looked fresh. Serving staff were efficient, friendly and courteous. Although this was a medium to large ship with over 3000 passengers it never felt crowded. The entertainment, especially the Princess Theater Singers and Dancers, were excellent. Embarkation and debarkation were ...

This was our first cruise to Hawaii, and I hope it will not be our last!. We arrived at port early (before noon) but were able to board right away. Our cabin was very comfortable and spacious..we had upgraded to a mini-suite. The cabin steward was very attentive. We had excellent service in the Michaelangelo dining room every night. The head waiter held a table with our favorite waiter every ...

Love the sea days to read, chat with new friends, or share a drink at happy hour. Movies are available, as well as trivia games, classes on photography as well as jewelry and history lectures in the various rooms. Shopping is available on sea days along with "special sales". For those inclined the Casino is also open on sea days. Explore the islands at your own pace while returning to the ...

Wanted to experience Hawaii and Pearl Harbor. Ruby is one of our favorite ships in Princess fleet - always fun and very well organized. Wish it was back in the Caribbean where we sailed on this ship 4 or 5 times. Enjoyed the variation of activities that filled the 9 sea days. The crew is more friendly on Princess ships than any other line we have sailed. We especially liked the casino ...

White glove service, staff who care about your personal preferences, accurate assistance, and a crew who genuinely look out for your comfort and safety to deliver a relaxing and fulfilling journey. Congratulations to Cunard for preserving their traditions and not bending to trendy expectations. Unwinding is not the norm for most cruise experiences yet I managed to read, recollect, reflect and ...

This was my first trip to Hawaii, but my 15th cruise over all--certainly not my longest, but I live for longer cruises just like this with lots of sea days, amazing ports, and the experience one can only get during time on a ship. I arrived with my partner in Long Beach the night before the cruise and stayed at the Hotel Maya. It was a fabulous hotel (albeit a bit on the pricey side when it came ...

First Christmas Cruise, and First Princess Experience with Family Suite

I traveled with my family of four on the Ruby Princess for its Christmas Cruise to Hawaii. We flew from Oklahoma the night before the cruise was to debark and had done 'massive' preparation for the trip. We packed seven checked-in bags plus carry-ons. We marked each piece of checked luggage with bright green duct tape on the sides, top and handles, and made luggage tags out of candy-cane red ...

4 of us older ladies recenly returned to Uk after enjoying a great time on Miracle. We found the cabins comfy ,and all staff, from cleaners to Captain extremely friendly and efficient! The ship takes a mandatory fee for tips ( to cover an amount per job ) from your credit card at the end of the cruise..and ..we were shocked at how many people cancelled this charge! In our view it was a ...

Great Way To See Hawaii

We are very fortunate to live about a half hour away from the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. Princess offered their Bon Voyage Experience on this cruise, so we invited a couple of friends to drive us to the ship in exchange for a tour and lunch. It's a nominal $40.00 which is applied to a future cruise. I think there are time limitations and, Bon Voyage isn't offered on every cruise, so please ...

Fabulous Cruise to Hawaii

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

After taking a couple of hours to embark with great excitement we were not disappointed. When we arrived at berth 93 at LA we handed our cases to the porter and next time we saw them they were safely stored outside our cabin. We had a balcony stateroom R342 which whilst not being the biggest room we've ever stayed in it suited us fine. Our porter was a lovely guy called Donato who couldn't do ...
