There were four or five occasions where our toilet wouldn't flush. Tried calling Passenger Services but they never picked up so I called the room steward. Problem was fixed in a reasonable amount of time but it's unfortunate that it happened at all. Also there were a couple of times the hallway near our cabin and the area outside Explorers Lounge had a strong sewer smell.

Arrived day prior to sailing and stayed at the Best Western, San Pedro. Great accommodations. Free shuttle to port next morning. Arrived at 11:00am and after clearing boarding formalities we were in the buffet enjoying lunch by 11:45am. Luggage in cabin at 1:00pm.

We didn't get a chance to explore LA not enough time the arrangement were great.
The best part was the embarkation and disembarkation process was smooth it was about 30 mins off however smooth in total.
The Ship, the Cabins & Dining area were very clear and everyone was very polite and courteous waiting on us for our every need.

I wanted to see Hawaii. Husband does not like to fly, and this was a round trip Los Angeles.
Embarkation was a breeze (got there at noon). We ususally do not check our bags and just carry them on ourselves. Usually going at this time,vwe only need to wait a few minutes and can drop the bags off in our rooms.
