Horrible

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Emerald Princess

We choose this cruise for a holiday get away. Princess Cruises were suppose to be upscale over Holland American and Carnival. What we found is an old and tired ship. They did maintenance on the swimming pools while in port (islands) so those staying on board could not use them. Last port, the deck maintenance crew started working a very rusted part of the Lido deck. The last night in ...

First and last

First ever cruise with Princess, but will also be our last. We have cruised with three other cruise lines previously, never have we been so disappointed. We were thinking perhaps our unpleasant experiences were a ‘one-off’ with Princess but having spoken with several Elite level passengers who had decided ‘enough was enough’ and that they would no longer cruise with Princess due to ongoing cuts ...

Elite member wants a refund for 2 lost days by the fault of the ship

We are Elite members with 20 years of cruising. For 2 complete days on Emerald Princess (Dec 6 and Dec7) from 7:00am to 5:00pm there was an extremely loud noise near our cabin. We could not talk, hear each other or relax in our mini-suite.. There was a metal bumping, beating other metal near our balcony for the whole day. Was it a necessity to do such job on the sea days? Generally, the whole ...

60 Days of Chaos!

Review for a Asia Cruise on Coral Princess

Princess Cruise Lines markets this type of a cruise as a "Grand Adventure." The problem was that there was nothing "grand" about it what-so-ever. Aside from the amazing ports of call the on board experience was mediocre at best. There was nothing innovative or unique at all, just a 7 day Caribbean or Mexican Riviera cruise recycled week after week. Every sea day at 10 a.m. (there were 39!) the ...

Sorry Princess

After 20 cruises on Princess chips, this cruise was such an awful experience that I cannot recommend Princess to anyone anymore. This was a 60 day cruise around the north Pacific. It was round trip from Los Angeles, so it was very convenient for west coast travelers. We were able to stop at the following ports: Ketchikan, Juneau, Hoonah, Kodiak, Yokohama, Hiroshima, Tianjin, Incheon, ...

The Grand Suite Disaster

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

This may be the last time to see my BROTHER. That was the main reason for my wife & I to go. We were looking forward to be in THE GRAND SUITE .Little did we know that we where going to have a room with major things so wrong and during the cruise we missed two ports and two excursions and we were stuck on the ship for two extra days. My wife and I decided to fill up the whirlpool tub in our room. ...

We paid lots of money for this cruise, and thought that service and food quality would be much better than pervious cruises that we have been on and we were dead wrong!! We were on the crown princess sailing to Hawaii and the South Pacific and the service and food quality was the worst we have ever seen!! My wife and I were sick from the food sometimes. They would serve the same food every week. ...

Incompetence

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

Hawaii itself was great (as always), but the treatment of the passengers by the Carnival Miracle staff was UNACCEPTABLE. First of all, the long embarkation lines---outside in the heat---at the Long Beach (CA) terminal could easily have been avoided by better planning on the part of Carnival. But even worse,, the lines at the Kona (HI) dock (waiting for a tender for over an hour), showed total ...

RECENT GRAND PRINCESS CRUISE WAS THE WORST OF THE 25 CRUISES WE AHVE TAKEN

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Grand Princess

Princess Cruise Line has reached the bottom of the barrel as far as I am concerned. Many things went wrong on our 2/17/15 - 3/4/15 Princess Cruise (A505) roundtrip from LA to Hawaii to LA in Stateroom A609. This was our third cruise on Princess of the 25 cruises we have taken to date. The most DISGUSTING thing experienced during this cruise was the spare mattress cover in a plastic bag under ...

We have cruised on Celebrity, RCC, and Carnival. This was our first Princess cruise because we liked the itinerary. Absolutely, the worst! The mattress was terrible and the pad our room stewart added didn't make an improvement and desk services were no help at all. The ship is dirty - filthy windows throughout, drapes need washing, mold in our shower, bathroom vent were full of dust YUCK!! The ...
