So much ship, so much fun

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

Familiar with carnival cruise line. New destinations.... cabo, mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta. The panorama's atrium center 3D display is mesmerizing and magical. Awesome for picture taking. Hats off to the genius that put that on there. Sometimes it's timed to the music as well. Different displays all the time. Activities and shows endless. Participated in bingo, late night shows, comedy ...

All and all a good value for your dollar. Good service staff. The issues remain in the nickel and dime and remaining at the mercy of a non-American staff who for the most part are excellent but not that good in the event of issues. Dining room offers decent food that’s included. Much of the food is average to sub-par. Ship filled to maximum capacity and crowded. Port destinations were Puerto ...

Expereinced cruiser thoughts on this ship and Carnival as a whole - Just ok. Mostly b/c the value has gone down a ton.

Let me preface this. We enjoyed the cruise and had a lot fun. Keep in mind all the prices I quote here are criminally jacked up spring break prices. Sometimes I wish my kids were home schooled just to be able to take off peak vacations sigh. And all of the cruise staff was beyond wonderful and hard working and great and should be paid the lion share of the profits (tho they probably aren't). Keep ...

We chose this cruise because we had a previous great experience on the carnival dream. We were leery of the reputation carnival had with party animals and were hesitant to bring our toddler on as a result, however given our previous experience we chose them anyway on a Mexico sailing. The ship itself is beautiful and once you get a feel of that flow of design it makes a lot of sense and you can ...

The Carnival Panorama Carnival cruise lines had been around since 1972 and has 26 cruise ships. I have been on half of them and planning to cruise them all. My favorite so far is the Panorama; it debuted in December 2019, and holds 4,008 guests and 1,450 crew members onboard. She is the largest ship in Carnivals Vista fleet. They offer cruises from 2-10 plus days. Carnival Panora does it best ...

As I am a travel blogger and long-time traveler (55 countries), I have sailed on various cruise lines. I think it is important to set your expectations accordingly. Disney: family. Windstar: adventure. Seabourn: upscale. RC: a little of everything. And now Carnival, aka the fun ship: good value. This was my first solo cruise. I was trying to do an inexpensive getaway from my base in Orange ...

Beautiful ship ruined by cost cutting

We were on the ship when it was brand new and just sailed again. While the ship is still beautiful the overworked crew try hard but the largely inedible food (think powdered egg, synthetic substitutes for cream, non dairy cheese, etc) with lines for everything make it a terrible experience. - food: terrible - cabin: nice but poor soundproofing with baby next door made it difficult to sleep ...

My wife and I booked the 7-day Mexican Riviera Cruise on the Carnival Panorama out of Long Beach, CA, joined by 2 adult family in a separate stateroom. We’re retired and looked forward to spending some time together visiting, relaxing, eating, drinking, swimming, gambling, shopping and seeing some of the sights as we traveled the Mexican Riviera. We flew into Long Beach Airport and took a $35 XL ...

Summary: - not-acceptable-bad: buffet food choice is extremely limited, comparable to the low cost buffet on land. - not-acceptable-bad: toilet is extremely small , high health risk if you use public bathroom - good: MDR is doing ok, about average restaurant level. - very good: show is good. - good: entertainment is plenty but most for kids - overall: compare with my previous ...
