The jewel was impeccably clean, and well maintained despite its age. The crew were all very friendly, super helpful. There were activities all over the ship at all hours of the day and a show inside the Stardust theatre every night. No matter if it was a port day or sea day, there was never a dull moment.

We chose this cruise for a couple of reasons - ports of call including the Panama Canal and second the price was amazing. NCL service is absolutely TOP NOTCH in all aspects of delivery. Have cruised several times with Oceania before and they were all fine in the past.Not this time.
We have a PH Suite which was fine with the exception of the postage size bathroom.
The Spa was not serviced and kept clean and the Steam room and Jacuzzi were both warm but to HOT. No Sauna.

The only good thing about this cruise is the excellent crew it has. Room service was exceptional. All crew members were friendly and and did their work with an excellent attitude. Otherwise the ship did not offer free WiFi, and the cost if was $19.99 per day. If you take your cellphone and use it on, or near the ship, the cost per call is $5.99 per minute. I'm loyal to Royal and wanted to do a Panama Canal cruise. I have been on about 40 cruises with Royal and this was by far the worst cruise I've been on.

I booked a cabin facing forwards at the front of the ship underneath the captain's bridge to give me the best possible view of the canal. The cabin was quite spacious with plenty of storage space, and perfectly adequate for my needs.

The Panama Canal was on my bucket list and when I was looking for a cruise that interested me I came across this one. I booked on impulse in 5 minutes. I was able to get off work, etc. So fate allowed us to go.
