Crown was great but lots of issues
"We had numerous drinks charged to our room that we never had, finally after 4 days of dealing with "guest services"staff we were able to get this corrected,we had our bathroom toilet backed up for 2 hours, limited to no response from management when we had these issues, and an hours wait on our Princess transportation back to the LAX airport once we had disembarked. We had issues from extremley long lines to check our bags at initial embarkation,to lost bags,to lost or misplaced dinner reservations, very limited and totally unorganized transportation with tenders from the ship to the shore and back to the ship in Lahaina(we never did get into Lahaina after waiting 3 plus hours for a tender)...."Read More

We chose this cruise because we were planning to fly to Hawaii and stay in Lahaina at a hotel or an Airbnb.Instead we found this cruise at a very reasonable price and decided to do two things, going back to Hawaii again, and doing it at a cost less than previously planned.Pluse we really enjoy the cruise expierence. We had several problems from start to finish, however i will say that the ship was ...

Entertainment was hit and miss. More misses. The Hawaiian couple were very talented. Not only performing each day but even teaching ukulele and hula to passengers with a presentation at the end. The ship singers and dancers performed 2 shows over a 15 day cruise, really? The other nights were comedians, magicians, and game shows. The destination and subject matter speakers were good, even if ...

This was our 23rd cruise with princess. First time on the Crown. This is also the first time we were disappointed in a cruise. Embarkation was smooth and efficient. My wife had wheelchair assist from the terminal door to our cabin door. We even got scanned for location of muster station on way to cabin, saving a trip later. Our balcony Baja deck cabin was all the way aft on the Starboard side. ...

This is my first attempt at writing a review so I hope it helps future cruisers. This was our fist Princess cruise and probably last, for us, the dining experience is 30% of the cruise, and honesty very important. Embarkation : We got lucky and rolled right through with a little unsolicited help from one of the ladies working the lines, but it looked like a free for all, caused mostly by ...

Our trip was designed to be a pre-holiday get away. The sailing was OK but not special. I probably won't sail on this itinerary again even as short get away. Several public restrooms were out of order. The entertainment was stale. It seemed to be stuck in the 70's. Housekeeping staff was outstanding. Overall all the staff was friendly and helpful. As for the dinning, I didn't experience a single ...

Itinerary (1-stop at Los Cabos), duration 5 nights, bargain pricing on mini suites (larger staterooms with modest sized balcony that most everyone above & beside you can see clearly) Ship thought about 10 years old appeared to be well maintained and clean. Cabin, meal service & bar staff were most friendly, cordial, professional & accommodating. Food served & selections available in all ...

Good itinerary included 4 Hawaiin islands plus Ensenada in Mexico. Embarkation in LA very efficient - as was disembarkation at the end of the cruise. Highlights were the excursions we booked in the 4 Hawaiin islands - superb trips, well organised and good value. As for the ship, the balcony cabin was clean and comfortable and the cabin steward very efficient. The ship seemed well kept and ...

We took this cruise to Hawaii to have a vacation. I booked it over a year ago. We live in So Ca so it is close to the port. Embarkation was extremely easy. We are Platinum Members so we don't really have to stand in line. The ship is older , its not shabby. We had a mini suite D329. The complaits on the room are the bath had a musty smell and the tub never drained properly while using the ...

15-day LA to Hawaii to LA, October 5th, 2016 I've been on maybe 20 cruises with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian but this is the first on Princess. I've always heard princess was more "upscale" than Carnival because their prices were higher, but this is not what I found. I won't cover everything, so if you are reading this to learn about cruises, their are better reviews, but for ...
