Back once again from our latest adventure. We choose the Carnival Spirit sailing to the Mexican Riviera over Thanksgiving holiday! As usual everything was delightful. Since our last sailing in April of 2011, there has been a couple changes.

Drove from the San Francisco Bay Area the day before sail. We arrived the night before and stayed at a San Pedro hotel. Since all the parties in our group were VIP, we headed over to the San Pedro pier around 10am and thought we would board at the usual 11am (usual for Florida ports). Not only did we not board until 12:30, there wasn't a VIP lounge. Oh well, I'm on vaca and all is well.

We stayed at the Vagabond on a sleep and sail. It was a good experience, with donuts available in the morning. If you want a nice place choose elsewhere but it works for us. We even got a repeat customer discount.

Just a couple of notes about our 3 night cruise on the Carnival Paradise Friday August 26th 2011 R/T from Long Beach CA to Ensenada.
There were 4 sisters/ nephews/ cousins on this cruise in 2 cabins. My sister and I had M8. Outside far forward portside. We had a side thruster just under our cabin and we really shook quite a bit in Ensenada and especially docking back in Long Beach.

We set out on a sea excursion on New Years Day, 2012 on the Carnival Spirit. We left out of San Pedro which was very nice.
This was the second time that we sailed with Carnival Spirit which was 3 months prior. Both were fantastic.
In 10/2011 the boarding process was crazy long and drawn out. However, in 1/2012 it was seamless. The boarding was so smooth and so much more relaxing.
