Relaxing and Good Value for the Money

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

The main reason we chose this cruise is that it would be in Cabo for a day and a half and we have friends living there that we wanted to visit. The Carnival Miracle worked out perfectly for our needs. We got to spend 2 wonderful days with our friends who showed us around their beautiful area. We knew the ship was a little older but everything was fine and the price we paid was fantastic. The ...

We had a great time on our first cruise back since COVID. Everything was very clean and organized. Check-in went very smooth and the new muster drill format was excellent! Instead of having to stand there with hundreds of people for an extended time, they gave you a window of time to go check-in at your muster station and learn the procedure. When we went there was only about 10 of us instead at a ...

Carnival: Bad food and entertainment

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

I cruised Carnival's Miracle and Sunrise essentially back to back in December 2021.I'll have more to say on Carnival overall in the Sunrise review I plan to post. I am no fan of Applebee's. I find the food mostly gross with, at best, a few decent options. That's what I expect from non-specialty restaurants on cruise ships. Food on Miracle fell below those expectations. Cruise ship ...

This was my first cruise, I have been following Cruise Critic for years wanting to take a cruise. I know this cruise was not normal that I will explain throughout this review. Middle of November I got a email ad from CCL. Well I had a few too many Jack & Cokes, I live about 10 minutes from the Long Beach Terminal, saw a cruise for 3 night LB to Ensenada for about $375, why not, I have vacation ...

Amazing Cruise for fun on a budget

While Carnival is well known for "value" vacations These 5 day Mexico trips are just the best. And the Miracle is by far my favorite of Carnival's Spirit class ships. Pros : Lots of free dining options If you book early the price is outstanding The best comedy at sea *almost every night* Fun design all around the ship. ( Google Carnival Miracle Punch Line to see what I mean ) ...

No enforcement of CDC mask protocols

I am shocked to see many people without masks or masks well below their noses in public areas walking around. They walk right by staff and no one says anything to them. The buffet servers even serve maskless people food. If you care at all about Covid 19 this is not the ship for you. I spoke with managers in Lido Deck dining area and pool areas. They say they can not do anything about ...

7 Day ALASKA cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Miracle

This was a 7 day trip from Seattle to Alaska with stops at Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan, Juneau & Skagway. We sailed on September 7, 2021 - September 14, 2021. Loved the ship! We normally like sailing on the Dream Class ships. But the Miracle was wonderful! I loved the layout as it had the promenade basically on both decks 2 & 3. Overall the ship felt "cozy". Definitely not small. The ...

Friendly and happy crew, ship in need of an overhaul

My wife and I are not seasoned cruisers, having been on the Carnival Splendor and MSC Divina prior to our cruise on the Miracle. However, the friendliness of the staff and customer service on both of our Carnival cruises far outpaced the experience on MSC. The ship itself is mid-sized, easy to find your way around, and never seemed crowded. However, signs of age are everywhere, and a drydock is ...

The itinerary was what we wanted, which we enjoyed. I found they nickeled and dimed you more than other ships I have been on. Really to charge you for distilled water. It's an inexpensive cruise and that's what you're getting. We usually travel Royal and we can see a definite difference in service and quality of food. The lobster night (my husbands favorite) was a total disappointment. The ...

First and last on Carnival

Embarkation was amazing. We purchased FTTF just a few days prior to sailing. We were on the ship by and had access to our cabin 7233 immediately. Our luggage was not delivered until later. Our first dining room experience left us more than a little apprehensive about further meals. We were served cool entrees. My chicken breast was so hard I could barely cut through it. I asked for ...
