We had a great time on our first cruise back since COVID. Everything was very clean and organized. Check-in went very smooth and the new muster drill format was excellent! Instead of having to stand there with hundreds of people for an extended time, they gave you a window of time to go check-in at your muster station and learn the procedure. I cruised Carnival's Miracle and Sunrise essentially back to back in December 2021.I'll have more to say on Carnival overall in the Sunrise review I plan to post.
I am no fan of Applebee's. I find the food mostly gross with, at best, a few decent options. That's what I expect from non-specialty restaurants on cruise ships. Food on Miracle fell below those expectations.

While Carnival is well known for "value" vacations These 5 day Mexico trips are just the best. And the Miracle is by far my favorite of Carnival's Spirit class ships.

Lots of free dining options
If you book early the price is outstanding

I am shocked to see many people without masks or masks well below their noses in public areas walking around. They walk right by staff and no one says anything to them. The buffet servers even serve maskless people food. If you care at all about Covid 19 this is not the ship for you.
