We have just completed 21 day trans pacific LA to Auckland and had a great time onboard this beautiful ship. The food in the main dining rooms and the cafe was excellent and the service throughout the ship was some of the best we have had with all the staff being friendly and efficient and really out to impress and make us feel welcome. The ship was spotless throughout and constantly being cleaned ...

Had a great time on the emerald princess, wonderful weather, great food and service. Entertainment was enjoyable. Back to back cruises, Panama Canal LOs Angeles to Fort Lauderdale, followed by a 14 days Circle the Caribbean. If you like a great evening in a fun atmosphere I suggest the Wheelhouse bar on Deck 7 next to the Princess Theater. James Naldo acoustic guitar is a great way to ...

A very nice cruise even with the itinerary changes.

This was originally the first segment of an around the world cruise. There were a couple of Itinerary changes prior to departure due to countries not allowing travel. We were disappointed that we would finish the segment in Papeete vs. continuing on to Auckland. New Zealand, Fiji, American Samoa, along with some ports in French Polynesia were cancelled. Oceania added two days in San Francisco and ...

Best. Cruise. Ever.

We had been quite isolated and without any of our favorite pastimes of cruising, fine dining, socializing (did I mention cruising?) for over 2 years. Like many cruisers, we were hesitant to cruise again with so many concerns and changes to our past 11 cruises. We found this cruise (second leg of RTW) booked and paid in full two weeks in advance-Gulp! Oceania is our favorite line and Regatta ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Viking Orion

Polynesia was a bucket list destination for me and my wife and we love Viking. This cruise was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the extra time we were able to spend on Tahiti and Bora Bora. The excursions were all very good and informative. The speakers that Viking had onboard for us kept us well informed and entertained on this longer cruise. In fact there were so many choices we were busy ...

My wife and I both love the South Pacific. When we saw this cruise on Viking's website we cancelled a cruise we had booked on another cruise line and immediately called Viking. At the time we booked, this cruise was supposed to go to Hawaii as well as the South Pacific. However the Hawaii portion ended up being cancelled due to Covid restrictions in the Hawaiian Islands. Viking notified us and ...

We had never seen a cruise to French Polynesia from the US back to the same location offered before from Viking. We thought that it might be our only opportunity for this cruise. Vikings COVID protocols at the time made us feel safer on one of their oceans ships than we felt at home. The cruise was even better than we had expected. As always the staff took wonderful care of us. Of course ...

We are experienced cruisers, having done a Viking Ocean in 2018 (Rome to Lisbon on the Viking Sun), a Viking river cruise in 2015 (Budapest to Amsterdam) and since 1990,, 5 other cruises on Carnival, Princess and Holland America. Each of those ships were 1500 to 2000 passengers. On this cruise we arrived in LA a day early and met with several others who had set up the meeting through Cruise ...

White glove service, staff who care about your personal preferences, accurate assistance, and a crew who genuinely look out for your comfort and safety to deliver a relaxing and fulfilling journey. Congratulations to Cunard for preserving their traditions and not bending to trendy expectations. Unwinding is not the norm for most cruise experiences yet I managed to read, recollect, reflect and ...

We had been on the Odyssey in 2011 for cruise from Athens to Istanbul on Veranda 2 level. This time we asked for Veranda 2 but got room 503 Veranda 1. Very noisy at 4:30am when the anchor dropped since it was a floor or two below us. We wanted a balcony because we love eating on the deck. We had a balcony but it was only 1/4 glass and the rest metal as we were the first balcony. It got covered in ...
