We drove from our home in Phoenix to Los Angeles and spent the night at the Best Western nearest the port. The hotel was nicer than expected, next door to Denny’s (which was also nicer than expected) and included 7 nights of free parking while we were on the cruise. Earlier this year we did the 94-day World Cruise on the Pacific Princess and expected that since this was a 60-day cruise the onboard activities, food and entertainment would be similar. Unfortunately Princess treated it like a 14-day cruise.
