We actually boarded the world cruise on December 24th in Fort Lauderdale. Cruise Critic did not allow us to pick that as our sailinh date. In regard to embarkation, I gave it a 3 star rating because the CDC got in the way of Viking's amazing COVID screening process. As a matter of fact, the CDC exposed us to a greater risk of COVID because they interfered with their own testing process. ...

We booked our first ever world cruise in June 2019 to sail in January 2021. That cruise was canceled because of covid, but we took the 125% and rebooked for 2022. Cabin situated next to machinery( air conditioning?) moved to another cabin but had to vacate that one at FL. No explanation given although we asked if problem was solved. Cruise overall was very good. Orchestra in theatre TOO LOUD especially drummer and pianist. Anytime dining in DaVinci with Oscar ...

Looking for an easy and relaxing getaway, we decided on this 5-day cruise to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate our anniversary for several reasons. Living in Northern California, the drive to LA meant no airports, most of the cruise was at sea with only one port...perfect! We drove to LA a day early and had a great overnight stay at the Crowne Plaza, which is literally within walking distance from the ...
