Not our first time to MSC, we chose MSC because we had travelled before Covid with them and had been impressed with their ships ,staff, food, cleanliness, price etc.
The MSC Virtuosa is stunning, new, modern whilst remaining elegant & classy, it is a beautiful ship and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.
MSC deserves A LOT OF CREDIT , the staff have 'nailed' health & safety re : Covid-19, we ...
There were faults with this cruise, but not over the things that are important to me. These are cabin, food, service, a calm and serene atmosphere, an elegant and spacious ship. All these aspects were excellent, especially the quality of service, which was faultless. The passenger/crew ratio of 1.77:1 was good, and there seemed more than enough staff. Yes, the QM2, being an ocean liner does have ...
Are we seeing the end of cruising’s golden age? Months of false starts, cancellations and frankly awful standards of service from certain companies - no names no pack drill - had made me pessimistic but having just returned home from a 14-night cruise to the Mediterranean on board Cunard’s QM2, I’m brimming with confidence. The good times are back!
QM2 is an elegant ship - plenty of dark ...
We had a fantastic holiday on onboard Britannia for a second time. The food was 95% great. The lobster and King prawns were a real treat. The entertainment was brilliant, especially the P&O performers and the staff are a real credit to P&O. The trips were well organised and despite the very hot weather we still had a great time visiting the different countries. I particularly enjoyed the art and ...
We have cruised many times over 20 years with Princess, RC and Celebrity, this was our first with MSC.
We chose this cruise because it ticked all our boxes, i.e price, extras, itinerary , and what with all the airport cancelations cruising from the UK would be less stressful.
The cabin was very nice, a comfortable bed surrounded by nice decor. A nice powerful shower with good extraction, we ...
Chose this cruise as it departed from Southampton, so avoiding airport delays/stresses, particularly with father in his late 80s joining my wife and I.
This was our 6th cruise, and a welcome return to the high seas after all the difficulties with Covid. First time with Princess having previously sailed mainly with P and O.
We arrived at Southampton quite frankly with low expectations, being ...
Booked last minute via Plant Cruises , very helpful gentleman called Derek helped us decide room type / package level.(no Pressure)
Hadn't experienced MSC cruises before so we were a little apprehensive after seeing some of the negative reviews, however many good reviews too.
From parking in the official MSC car park, embarkation and arriving in the Market Place buffet (15 minutes) super ...
We left Southampton on one of the hottest days of the year with an 8 year old and an autistic 4 year old!
We specifically booked royal Caribbean due to the autism status and it did not disappoint.
Our worry upon arrival will be the waiting to board as our youngest cannot handle hustle and bustle and noises etc so therefore he has a meltdown. Advised royal Caribbean of our worries and got ...
Finally, at, I think, our seventh attempt we made it back on to a Cunard ship, and enjoyed ourselves very much. We have cruised with Cunard many times and were pleased to see everything was much as expected, with a few differences because of Covid.
By far the worst part was embarkation which took about an hour and three quarters rather than the usual 20 minutes. I’m not sure why this was, ...
We chose this cruise as we were introduced to sailing On Iona back in 2018 whilst onboard Ventura by the on board agent, (this was our first ever cruise) we originally booked the Fjords but due to the pandemic all had changed. P&O kept our money as we definitely wanted to cruise with them again, so the funds were placed on to future cruise credit on our account. We then rang the agent and ...
