Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Celebrity Eclipse

It was visiting Cities I have not been to before. I wanted to sail from Southampton and not fly. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and find travel difficult these days. Everything regarding Boarding and Departing was good. People in wheelchairs were looked after but people with illnesses like mine or MS struggled to wait for Shuttle buses. Could have been better. I saw people return to the ...

This was our first cruise and were celebrating a special birthday and wedding anniversary. We chose Celebrity on the strength of the solid reviews, so am aware of the importance of these where literally millions of pounds can be won or lost. Here's my account. We travelled down the evening before the cruise and stayed in Winchester some eight miles away. This was due to the fear of us missing ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to try Explorer and thought the ports ideal for us, especially with a Southampton start. We boarded and both said WOW. It really is a fantastic ship. From the artwork to the furnishings and crockery. We were 'processed' quickly at 12 noon and then to a delicious buffet lunch. Once the suites were available we unpacked and found we still had spare ...

Late booking secured excellent deal with adjacent balcony cabins and inclusive drinks package for 4 adults. A beautiful Ship in excellent condition. The most visible and charismatic Captain we have ever had on 10 cruises - his charm and hospitality permeated through all the officers and the entire crew. The fastest embarkation and disembarkation we have ever experienced - superbly ...

Celebrity Eclipse - 17 September 2017 - another stunning cruise!

Despite the Boat show being on in Southampton, we arrived in the Dockyard within about 20 minutes from the Premier Inn, Fareham. We entered via Dock Gate 10, were directed to the ABParking car park and left our cases with them for boarding. We entered the Departure Lounge at 1114 and were on board at 1120, probably due mostly due to Concierge Priority boarding, I think. We were greeted on board ...

I chose the cruise just for the ship. I had been to these ports many times but love Celebrity ships and I now go on them mainly not for the ports since I have made 140 cruises on most of the cruise lines and lately I have found when I am going just to enjoy the ship and the ocean, I choose a Celebrity ship. The food is always outstanding the staff always welcoming. I have been on with my whole ...

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Azura

We decided on this cruise for the ports of call, and it was great choice. September can be dodgy with the sun/rain, but this was sunshine all the way, with temperatures around the mid 20's. This was our first time on Azura but we have been on the sister ship Ventura, but we did find Azura a more happy place - not sure why but it might have something to do with the Captain - a great bloke. Yes if ...

Getting on the ship easy and stress free. Booked car parking which was right next to the ship. To stepping in the departure lounge to getting on the ship took around 30 minutes. Got into stateroom an hour earlier than first thought. Interior stateroom spacious. We had 2 rooms next to each other with interlocking door which we kept open most of the time which made the rooms feel much bigger. They ...

We chose this cruise for our 50th Anniversary, we've been on the Azura before & enjoyed ourselves. Our cabin was lovely, food & entertainment fantastic, The Entertainments Team lead by Benne worked so hard, so much energy. The Sail Aways were exciting & got people into the swing of things. Staff all very helpful & understanding. Great choice of food in the Buffet, so much. Varied ...

From parking our car to getting on the ship took less than an hour, superb. We had an Ocean View cabin, plenty of room and spotless. The ship is very big and we did get lost at times, but all part of the fun. The ship was so clean and felt like it was brand new. The food was top class, and in The Windjammer you was spoilt for choice. We didn't see the point in using the speciality ...
