we don't fly so cruise from a UK port
overall we had a great cruise , only 2 snags, 1 they seved gluten to my wife, also went to Indian and she was ill, but apart from those 2 incidents we had a geat cruise, ship was full and it was difficult to get into some venues unless you turned up an hour early also films where put on mostly at 1pm when we where having a sit down lunch

So nice to have a classic cruise instead of the hard sell, glitzy, quantity over quality that other companies seem to be providing now. The embarkation process was smooth, arrived and checked in within 30 mins.
Our cabin was indoor, c366 and was as expected. Not a huge amount of hanging space/storage but for a short cruise was adequate.

We normally sail for around two weeks, and we were worried that 7 days would be too short to enjoy our holiday, however the Ventura did us well.
