Last minute bargain and thoroughly enjoyed.
Food in buffet was pretty good although sometimes lukewarm but guess this is to be expected when such large quantities are being served. Meals in Baytree restaurant were really nice and service was prompt and friendly.
Entertainment onboard was excellent.
Ship was clean and all staff friendly and polite.

Because we wanted to try cruising, we usually have seven weeks in Key Largo, we decided we needed a change. Because we wanted some sun a Caribbean cruise seemed a good option. We love the Caribbean in Jan/ Feb to escape the UK winter. Ventura was late arriving in Southampton due to bad weather, thank goodness we weren’t on that cruise! A lot has been said about the 9th December cruise, the listing that terrified people was just that, terrifying. I think the deck could have told us not to worry much sooner.
