First of all I apologise in advance to all the Cunard lovers on here. Start with the positives (this won't take long!). It was cheap deal! House band quite good. Balconies large. The overall package was very good value for money. The opportunity to sail around South America through the Magellan Straits, including a voyage up the Amazon to Manaus, plus a crossing of the Pacific past Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Bora Bora and others on the way to Auckland and Sydney was very attractive. I wished to visit some of the itinerary. Unfortunately the cabin allotted to us was very noisy and we missed many a morning lecture due to loss of sleep. eventually we were moved but his occurred several times so we were not happy travellers. Would we book another cruise with P & O, NO! These are the reasons: We do not feel the P & O fulfilled their advertised cruise. Whilst we understand P & O's reasons for cancelling our ports in Argentina, they did not notify passenger until it was too late to cancel not only their booking but also airlines & hotels, even though they must have known months before this was to happen.
