The opportunity to travel up the Amazon, Central America and Caribbean. The whole cruise was excellent in every way. The many ports of call, experiencing so many places, the excursions well organised. The crew were excellent, a happy ship and you felt it. Nothing was too much trouble. 1. Price! 2.. The food was very good indeed and I am fussy(!) I do not eat pork products and I was supplied each night with the menu for the following day to choose and some dishes were certainly made specially. The vaiety was very good. We travelled on Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to Rio, via New York, Fort Lauderdale, Amber Cove, Barbados and Salvador, from January to February 2016. The ship then carried on with her World Cruise.
