Just back from our Transatlantic on the Oasis of the Seas (15-27 Oct 2014). This is my first cruise review - Have to say I’m very disappointed. Embarkation – Embarkation at Southampton was an absolute nightmare. As directed by email from RCCI we arrived at 12:00 to embark the ship. This was to find hundreds of people already milling around the doors of the terminal, luckily it was not raining. ...

My husband and I sailed on the Oasis in 2013. We fell in love with the ship, the captain (Patrik) and the cruise director (Amy) and had so much fun we decided to book the Transatlantic cruise in conjunction with a cruise around the Canary Islands Adventure of the Seas. The Captain and Amy were visible a lot. We booked the cruise 18 months ago as the termination of an extended holiday in England and were looking forward to a great cruise experience as an opportunity to unwind. Frankly, we were neither delighted or satisfied, in fact we were extremely disappointed with this cruise. Note: We have made 17 cruises (5 RCCL). Some positive notes to begin with: Our Cabin Steward Imade Semarajaya was ...

Firstly we boarded at Southampton we were sent e-mails confirming our boarding time and asked to acknowledge that we had received this. When we arrived at the port there was a massive crowd and the doors had not been opened to let people in. We waited 2:15 hours with people pushing and shoving and then the rain started. No officials from RCI or the port gave any information at all no definitive ...
