For our fifth cruise my wife and I chose a trip from Southampton calling at Bilbao and La Coruña, Spain then Cherbourg and Le Havre, France. See belowThis truly was a disaster. My wife's 50th birthday treat, a weeks cruise. My wife was either angry or in tears for the week.
Everything was going well until the first day proper when going to use the bathroom it was flooded. Not convenient when needing the toilet. Let that one slide after staff came round rodded the pipes and staff cleaned and sterilized.

Chose this cruise because of itenary and we enjoyed visiting each one. Embarkation went smoothly and cabin was ready for 1 pm which was great. Cabin was at front of ship and although nice it was very noisy . Our attendant was fantastic and always welcoming.
