Having been on the independence of the sea twice, we were looking forward to this new ship (booked before the ship was finished) what a disappointment, no atmosphere, dining the worse we've ever experienced, very repetitive menu, with the exception of a few members of staff, they seemed as fed up as many of our fellow passengers that we spoke to were.
The North Star was very good, as was Two70, ...
This was our third cruise, but our first with Royal Caribbean having previously sailed with Celebrity and Cunard, both in the past 12 months. We very much enjoyed our cruise on the Anthem and would recommend her to friends, although would probably try a different ship next time just for the variety of experience. For us choosing a cruise just depends on what's going where and when and if they ...
just came back from a fantastic holiday aboard the Anthem of The Seas. This ship has everything you could possibly want out of a holiday whether you want it relaxing, exciting or educational. this is our second time cruising as we sailed on the independence of the seas last year, and this ship did not disappoint. Unfortunately this ship is going to be based in America in 6 weeks time. Anthem had ...
Won't sail her again. As ships go, they have substituted a lot of public deck area (views, comfort of strolling) for added features not too many people even used. The design is poor, as you can't even walk around the front of ship (unlike Indy) without feeling like you're in a wind tunnel! Robot bar thing is gimmicky and useless. Promenade space is cramped with considering the size of ship. ...
We booked another short 3 nighter so we could try out this new ship. We were not disappointed.
From a very very quick check in totaling 15 mins to getting on board was a credit to them. Dont bother with the time they give you as we were on board by 11:30am.
The ship is a marvel and big! Very Big! Rooms were available at 2pm and the doors were shut so we couldnt sneak a look.
We had a ...
I would never normally do this sort of thing but i have seen so much negativity about this ship i just find it necessary to assure those of you that will be travelling on Anthem that you are in for a treat. !
I have just returned home from a 14 night cruise and i could not be happier ! Staff superb ! Food excellent Entertainment Excellent ! I had two teenage girls with me who both loved the ...
This was our 4 cruise with Royal Caribean and although we had a fantastic holiday this ship has some teething problems and has definitely lost the party atmosphere as with other Royal Caribean ships we have sailed on. My biggest negative is the lack of atmosphere on the ship no set sail parties and the Royal Promenade is just full of shops with nothing going on. Up on the pool deck there is ...
We have been on the Independence of the Seas twice now which we loved and eagerly anticipated our trip on Anthem which we booked 18 months in advance.
Embarkation was swift as usual and we were onboard by 11am .Our cabin was on deck 10 and had a virtual balcony which was great, very modern and much more spacious than the equivalent on the Independence. The addition of a spacious sofa bed rather ...
We were a family of four, kids aged 10yrs.
Embarked at southampton which was failry easy and hassle free.
First day cruising my daughter spotted a 'Number 2' in the pool and informed attendant which was closed immediately and cleaned. My daughter suffered with diarhea for the next two days (coincidence???)
First 2 days crusing is baltic cold so cant sunbath and just thousands of people ...
i will start by saying this is at least my tenth cruise and my wife and I have taken 6 of these cruises together in the 20 years we have been married
This cruise was for our 20th anniversary and could not have been a better experience. Boarding the ship in Southampton was unbelievably easy....took 5 minutes.....I have never had this type of experience boarding a cruise ship. No lines and happy ...
