We chose to be in Queens Grill, in a cabin on deck 4 at the aft of the ship. Not our first time in QG but we were clearly trusting on hope over experience as our previous experience was very poor but time heals.
Our cabin vibrated when the ship was underway, and was impossible to sleep in on several nights of the cruise. I went to resolve this issue and was given a "sleeping cabin" in ...
Having sailed many times with Cunard we looked forward to the Christmas / New Year cruise. We were supposed to have priority boarding - didn't happen. We had asked to be seated on a table for 8 for the evening meal. Didn't happen - got a table for 4 and maitre d' not interested. No cocktail parties - because of Covid but 1000+ people dined together at each sitting and similar numbers in the ...
There were so many problems with this special trip, that its hard to know where to start. Lots of other passengers felt exactly the same way. We have no intention on travelling with Cunard again, unless they do something to make amends.
Firstly the big one - being lied to by Cunard, and then this being spun as a "unique opportunity". The ship was faulty, and had been arranged to go into dry ...
WE chose this cruise , as being frequent cruisers on other lines we had heard of Cunard 5 star reputation?
It was to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and a 70th Birthday so very special.
We found the ship despite the Christmas decorations tired and cold particularly in the dining and public areas,
The food was good, but limited and repetitive in main dining and the buffet ...
A disaster from start to finish. At Southampton, despite all the promises that proof of vaccinations will be checked, nobody was asked for this upon checking in. We were then herded into very long seating rows, crammed like sardines. The itinerary had changed, we were not informed, ever. Our cabin, 7167 - starboard aft - (we always choose this area) shook so violently that the bed and pillows ...
This was our first Cunard Cruise, we had high hopes: ship looks stylish, cabin comfortable, embarkation smooth. Drinks are seriously overpriced and service charges do not reflect the level of service delivered. on arrival we had wine but only one glass, no teaspoons for coffee and not enough milk. Food options are very limited compared to P&O and food is rather bland, unimaginative and ...
Cruise to Canaries for winter sun, spoilt by below average food.
We cruised on Cunard 5 times, two on Queen Elizabeth, One on Queen Mary and Two on Queen Victoria.
The last on Queen Victoria and never again.
We have cruised many times mostly with Oceania and Regent Seven Seas.
Our last two cruises have been with Cunard on Queen Victoria in a Princess grill suite and MSC Bellissima in ...
Having cruised well over 15 times as a couple (and Cunard Carnival cruises) let's start by saying that the pursers office had a very negative attitude, both in person and on the phone. The cost of drinks is extortionate I.e. a bottle of wine £5-6 uk over £40 on the ship plus 15 percent. Cost to us well over £350. The food is adequate at best the fish clearly cooked in a toaster. The speciality ...
We have sailed several times on Victoria, always in Princess Grills, and loved it. This time the room was dirty, and very noisy. The ship was under crewed and no one seemed very happy. The room was not cleaned until mid to late afternoon, which is unusual and was very inconvenient.
The ship was very noisy with the infrastructure creaking and groaning 24/7
The food was adequate but not of the ...
we choose this Cruise to celebrate out 50th Wedding Anniversary
Embarkation and disembarkation were very well organised -
The ship never stopped rolling never been on a ship that moved so much
Cabin small /shower very small / but very clean
Used Britannia Restaurant most of the time - Food and service in Evening excellent
but think this was a training cruise - breakfast and Lunch ...
