We saw this cruise advertised by Imagine cruising who had chartered Queen Mary after covid restrictions forced her scheduled restart to be delayed. We were keen to sail again and the thought of some winter sun was enticing. Pre sailing the online form filling was tedious and the arrival of a new variant of covid and subsequent media noise created more of it and raised stress levels. On the ...

We choosed this World cruise on Cunard for the itinerary and the ship It was a very special cruise because of the Corona virus. Everyone was disappointed by the cancellation of the ports. But we understood , it was more safe to not stop in Asia. It was the end of January and we can only thanks Cunard, to have taken this terrible decision so quick, we were one of the first ship to change ...

Excellent service and food, and world class shows. Entertained by Pam Ayres and educated by Lord Dannatt, or should that be the other way round? Special thanks to crew and staff, Roger, Chandra, Jane, Alex, Sid and many others. A great ocean liner - one of us gets sea sick on smaller ships but no problems on QM2. Enjoyed different venues each morning for coffee. Never actually went to the famous ...

Embarking RMS QM2 in Southampton on December 3 for the 12-night cruise to the Canaries, this trip sets a record in my cruising life of 20-plus years in that I spent 32 nights in a single ship during 2015. The last trip was in January Southampton to Dubai and I was somewhat surprised that some restaurant staff greeted me for a 'welcome back', unusual for a ship this capacity while usual on ...

We have done a couple of other cruises with Thomson before and was wondering what to expect with Cunard. The Queen Mary 2 was the friendliest ship we have ever sailed on. We got to Southampton an hour and a half before out allocated time and was allowed straight aboard. Our cases where already waiting at our cabin. The staff on the ship could not do enough for you and were so friendly. The food ...

Well it has been a while but I thought to write a review anyway! It was all about two weeks of relaxation and getting spoiled from the great “ White Star Service” as Cunard calls their Service rules. This cruise took place December 2013 ! From Southampton to Southampton! Canary Islands! Pre Cruise stay: Prior the cruise I stayed three night in The Goring, London- Belgravia! Now THAT was an ...

Having just returned to Blighty from another lovely cruise I thought I would write and put forward our experience. This is the second time with Cunard the first on the Victoria which was a very enjoyable experience. At 150,000 tons this large Liner is obviously very stable and although we did not incur any rough weather the bay of Biscay was always there as a threat on the way back. This was ...

Previously we have been reluctant to book a cruise because we were told it was only frequented by elderly passengers who sit around habitually talking about their vast portfolio of cruising experiences. However, we wanted a change from our usual package holiday experience and decided to take the plunge. Compared to our recent holiday on a Greek Island we received absolute 5 star service from the ...
