Southampton to Canada & New England Cunard Queen Mary 2 (QM2) Cruise Reviews

Was on the Iceland Canada crossing. Very smooth but there lacked things to do for anyone under 50. Also had a worrying fire on board one evening over the tannoy telling us it had broken out in the incinerator room. Could smell smoke. Also had a person helicopter lifted off. All quite eventful! Quite a long cruise -28 days. The cruise was enjoyable and the staff fantastic. The food in the Britannia restaurant was sublime. We mainly found the entertainment boring. Some of the good speakers had uninteresting subjects while others had a poor delivery. Eg a lecture on dining at the White House was 40 years out of date and not very interesting at that. Our family were keen, to travel, once again, on The Queen Mary 2. It would be our fourth journey aboard, but it would the first we had done so, since 2011. This time around, we decided to take the Westbound crossing; without the Eastbound return.
