The Ruby Princess is a very young ship that is the largest in the Princess fleet. They kept many of the basic layout and design elements from all of their other ships, but also made some rather notable changes. The Piazza is much larger and capable of holding more traditional entertainment events; the down side is that it interferes with the programming of Crooners (their piano bar). The ...

I will cover the title later. This review covers the Ruby Princess on back to back cruises that started in Southampton on 8/27/2014 and ended in Manhattan New York on 9/22/2014. Princess refers to the cruise as “British Isles” and “Iceland Grand Adventure” for the second half. This review covers all opinions, mostly good to excellent and some disappointments. Most of the entertainment was not great, and they seemed to be catering to the over 75 crowd with ventriloquist acts and the such. The duo that played at at the Compass Room was very limited in their playlist and not great. The dancers ...

My family and I are seasoned cruisers. Over the past 15 years we’ve sailed a total of 29 times on Azamara, Celebrity, Holland America, Cunard, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, and MSC. This was our third sailing on Princess Cruise Lines. We picked this cruise over our preferred line, Celebrity, largely because of itinerary and the sailing date. Overview The Ruby Princess is a lovely ...
