My partner and myself have just returned from a cruise around the Mediterranean . We paid £3650.00 , we paid £150 for parking , £490 for excursions and £981.85 . This cruise was something we had planned and looked forward too for the last 6 months, however it fell short of our expectations from day one. We had to queue to board the ship for 2 hours, we had to queue to leave the ship for at ...

We chose this cruise as we were travelling with daughter son in law and two grandchildren. If travelling without school age children we normally cruise outside school holidays. We did almost the same family cruise last year on Emerald. After booking were concerned about the poor reviews about the state of the ship prior to embarking the Crown. We all had priority embarkation, which as boarding ...

Great cruise but marble stairs in the Atrium proved to be my downfall

Had sailed on the Caribbean Princess previously and had such a great time. The food, both in the buffet and restaurants, was superb. My husband doesn’t like fish but he couldn’t get enough of it on the cruise! So in 2017 we decided to give Princess cruises another go and did the Mediterranean on the Crown Princess. The cabin was good and the steward was extremely helpful and ensured all that ...

Princess has always delivered consistently good service and this Mediterranean Adventure was no exception. We've sailed on Crown before as well as Caribbean and Grand Princesses and the ship was familiar enough to feel comfortable but slightly different in some aspects from her sisters to make the experience just as refreshing. We are low demanding customers so found the service excellent by our ...

LOVELY CRUISE, RELAXING HOLIDAY

We took our first cruise last year on the Emerald princess and loved every minute, so decided to go again this year on the crown. We were a little sceptical as some of the reviews weren't very good . I can honestly say that we had a fabulous time. It's easy to moan and groan about petty things, so I'm not going to! We had two balcony rooms so our teenagers were close by and we were on caribe ...

14 NIGHT MED FROM SOUTHAMPTON

first ever sailing from Southampton for a group of 8, I was dreading the bay of Biscay as friends have had bad crossings there, it was fine going and like a mill pond on return trip. In fact the English channel was the bumpy ride going out to Barcelona. Food & service were up to Princess' high standards, cleanliness is second to none and the staff are very polite (even in the early hours ...

This was a 14 day Med cruise from Southampton, visiting Barcelona, Ajaccio, Rome, Livorno, Genoa, Marseilles and Gibraltar. There were 3 in our party, myself, my disabled husband and my 6 year old son. Outward Journey - We were due to fly from Manchester to Southampton the morning of the cruise, but it was explained to us that if we were late for embarkation, we'd have 4 days to kill ...

Just got back from a 14 day cruise from Southampton round the Med on Crown Princess. All we can say is we had a great time. We did hear a number of moans but it was difficult to understand why. - our only "complaints" were that LOVE BOAT wasnt played on the siren as we were leaving Ports and in the trivia comps some of the office answers were wrong. As usual though the Princess excursions ...

Having sailed with princess on five previous cruises, there was no contest as to which cruise line we would choose again! We sailed from Southampton to the Western Med and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Result? We're booked again on the Crown Princess out of Rome/Civitaveccia (?) late July 2018 sailing in the Southern Med. Looking forward to seeing the 'upgrades' to the Crown! As far as the ...

Wonderful Western Mediterranean Cruise

We are regular travellers on Princess Cruises and the Crown Princess did not disappoint us. This was our first time on this ship. The atmosphere was wonderful because of the large number of teenagers and children with their parents and grandparents. We are in our early sixties we welcomed this holiday environment. We were 2 of only about 30 Australians onboard and this gave us an opportunity to ...
