Princess has always delivered consistently good service and this Mediterranean Adventure was no exception. We've sailed on Crown before as well as Caribbean and Grand Princesses and the ship was familiar enough to feel comfortable but slightly different in some aspects from her sisters to make the experience just as refreshing. We are low demanding customers so found the service excellent by our ...
We are regular travellers on Princess Cruises and the Crown Princess did not disappoint us. This was our first time on this ship. The atmosphere was wonderful because of the large number of teenagers and children with their parents and grandparents. We are in our early sixties we welcomed this holiday environment. We were 2 of only about 30 Australians onboard and this gave us an opportunity to ...
Our first impressions were positive but the food in the dining room was a big disappointment.
Embarkation went smoothly and the cabin was spacious and had a good sized balcony. The balcony was overlooked from above but gained better exposure to the sun.
The entertainment overall was good. The theatre had good acoustics, a great live band and a very talented cast for the shows. The guest ...
Crown Princess - 13 May 2017
My wife and I have completed 25 previous voyages with Princess and six with P&O. Princess is one of our favourite cruise lines and their ability to cater for my wife’s gluten free diet has always been an important factor. We have also sailed with Holland America, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Azamara Club Cruises and Regent Seven Seas. We are not keen on the ...
I read a review about Princess written by an Elite cruiser, I have to say that I agree with what she said so here goes.
The good
Crown Princess is a lovely ship, but there is a lot of wear and tear that needs addressing.
The staff were lovely
The shows were the best we have seen
The food will go in both good and bad, because sometimes it was good.
The bad
The food sometimes ...
Left Southampton on Saturday 27th July for a two week western Mediterranean cruise on board the crown princess. Embarkation took half an hour but once on board everything went smoothly. We had a midship cabin on Rivera deck 14, to keep costs down we booked an inside stateroom which saved us 600 compared to my sisters balcony state room directly opposite ours.
First impressions of the ship were ...
We have just returned from a western med cruise June 12 to 29th on the Crown Princess.
1, check at the mayflower terminal was abysmal we had preferred checking and arrived at the time stipulated on boarding ticket there was two huge lines of people waiting and the people with mobilty problems were also trying to negotiate the double lines as well.
2,Entertainment was well below the standard that ...
Overall, we had a good time and do like Princess. This was our third Princess cruise, and we're booked for another in January.
Embarkation was swift and efficient ' in fact, maybe too much so for our steward! He seemed shocked when we entered our room as he was still getting it ready. We went for lunch, and all was good when we returned. My suitcase arrived shortly thereafter, but alarm bells ...
This was my very first time on a cruise and I booked the Western Med knowing something about the countries but my main aim was to see if I liked the idea of cruising. I did, loved it but this was my first and now acts as a benchmark for what I look for in the future. First of all the very positives.
Princess Cruises for me are first class for cleanliness, food, staff attitude entertainment, ...
