Everything was great from getting on to the ship at embarkation day it was fast, it took at least 10 minutes to go through everything. As soon as we got on the ship, our rooms was ready to go so we went to lunch food was super yummy. Then the fun began as soon as we started to sail away. We saw beautiful places all over the British Isles it was so much history and culture learning about people ...

Wanted to try Princess cruise lines. Embarkation was great best I've seen. Disembarkation was just as easy. Food was good didn't have a bad meal. Crown Grille was very good. Give you a lot of food. Enjoyed going to Scotland, France and England. Entertainment was good wish they had more shows. Our cabin was in the front of the boat (C222) but it was smooth sailing. We were on deck 10. Buffet was ...

This cruise was so much fun. 1) Definitely get off the ship at the ports. The princess excursions guarantee you won't miss the ship departure. 2) Pack for rain! 3) Eat breakfast in the restaurant at least once because the fresh coffee, service and food were nice to enjoy at a relaxed pace! 4) Go to the special entertainment on port nights! They had Irish dancers and ballads when we ...

Our family of four (kids ages 8 and 7) was as impressed with Princess as ever. This was our 7th cruise with the line. The ship was condition was excellent, given its age with new Medallion Class technology having debuted. Our favorite features are the fast internet speed, your cabin door automatically unlocking when you approach and being able to order a drink without having to move from your ...

My adult son and I sailed on the Crown mid-July 2019 around the British Isles. Overall, it was a very fun experience that we'd consider doing again, perhaps with the whole family next time. Neither of us had been to UK or Ireland before, and this cruise allowed for us to get a quick overview, giving us some ideas of what we might want to see in more depth later. We stayed in an inside cabin ...

The unexpected in the British Isles

I have been fortunate to travel to the UK on several occasions, visiting family, presenting at conferences and enjoying the theatre scene. So exploring London before heading to the cruise was not a high priority, although the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, where I stayed before and after the cruise, was well located to explore walking and public transport. Embarkation went smoothly and the ...

Always wanted to do a British Isles cruise and the itinerary and dates worked well for us. We arrived one day early to Southampton and stayed at the Harbour Hotel and Spa--which I highly recommend. We did exploring around Southampton which was fun--turns out Southampton is nicer and more up-to-date than what I had imagined! Embarkation went great--got right on and bought my coffee card. I do ...

First time on Princess Cruise Line and it won't be my last!

We were looking into cruising around the British Isles and Princess offered the best time of year and the most ports of call that interested me and my family. My husband and I had cruised before on two other cruise lines for a shorter time, but had heard good reviews of Princess. We were not sorry in the least that we chose the Crown Princess for this Trip of a Lifetime!! After winning the ...

Ports and excursions and great reviews of service. Ports were so much fun. Got to see main cities and learned a lot about the history of Ireland and Scotland that I was not aware of. Excursion guides were very informative and friendly. Most of the coaches were up to standards. Weather was great during this time of the year. Food was great even in the buffet. The specialty restaurants were ...

Great trip!

Everything was great - itinerary, food, the ship, and service. We picked the cruise up in Le Havre, spending 3 days prior in Normandy and 5 nights in Paris. There is a free shuttle from the train station in Le Havre to the ship or take a taxi. We did traditional dining for most nights and had great table mates. We used anytime dining for some late excursion days. Ate at the Crown Grill specialty ...
