We chose this cruise as my husband wanted to see the Fjords and photograph the landscape.
I read all reviews prior to going on the cruise. All I can say is that I think we must have gone on a different cruise to everyone who had negative comments about Azura.
Our cabin was spotless (a balcony cabin), the cabin steward was excellent and cleaned the cabin twice a day. Couldn't complain about ...
My husband and I went on this cruise together. This was only our second cruise we have done and the first with P and O so we can't really compare to other ships. We chose to have a balcony cabin so we could relax and watch the views go by. We thought the views reminded us of the trip we did on the Caledonion way in Scotland, my husband said it was like the Caledonion way on steroids! We were on ...
We had a nice relaxing time on our cruise on Azura. We had a 1530 check in time and decided to take a chance and arrived at 1330. We were surprised to find we could join the check in queue straight away as there was no waiting and were in our cabin within 15 minutes. We had a balcony cabin on C deck as we prefer the larger balcony. We were on the port side and seemed to have the most of any sun ...
Our 4th cruise on a P&O ship and definately the best experience we have had with them. Embarkation as usual was flawless. Brilliant service from CPS, would highly recommend. Went straight to cabins, definately the best lay out & position we have had & cabin nice and clean. Muster drill was quick & painless, so we set sail. This was a 7 nighter to the Norwegian Fjords. Went through a G.F 9 on the ...
Service was excellent, with helpful and courteous staff throughout the ship.
This was our second cruise to the Fjords with P&O having been last year on Britannia, but this time were were introducing the In-Laws to the delights of cruising and they wanted to see the Fjords....
Cabin was good – C753 – at the stern, with larger than usual balcony for a Balcony cabin. We took this as it was only ...
Never been to Norway or fjords so really looked forward to it . Great itinerary , highlights Flam and Olden with land train tour . Bergen wet and Stavanger ok ( visit St Switching church , £3 entry)
Booked to board at 1330 but due to having to vacate hotel room , we were on board at 1230 and in cabins by 1300 , very quick and efficient , so much better than airports having to sit around for ...
Overall the ship was excellent value and the menus were fine dining. I never experienced one poor meal. The only negative I can speak of is that solo travellers are not catered for at meal times ie constantly asking for a large table with other singles and getting couples or a couple was daunting. As lovely as the people were, it wasn't ideal until I went to afternoon tea for singles and befriended ...
Always wanted too see the Fjords so took the plunge. I went solo as my husband will not go on a cruise ship. Embarkation was smooth and efficient.Cabin as was the rest of the ship was very clean. I sat with a group of 7 other solo travellers for club dining.Would do my own thing if I went again as by the end of the week it gets very tiring maintaining conversation etc.Wide choice of places to eat ...
It was a long time life ambition to see the Norwegian Fjords and to view them on a cruise was to me the best way possible,
We booked P&O after sailing in the Caribbean with them in March this year. We were vastly impressed after our previous cruises with another company.
We loved Azura after meeting their very young Captain Cambry and his whole passion and interest in both safe sailing but ...
Arrived in Southampton by train and took taxi to Mayflower terminal. Cases were taken from us by a man with a trolley as soon as we stepped out of the car. Didn't see those again until later that day when they were placed outside our cabin. Embarkation process was quick and efficient - we were on the ship by 2.00 pm even though our allotted slot was 2.30 pm.
Cabins were ready so we could ...
