Chose this cruise because the dates and destinations fitted, and we quite like the sea days. Took advantage of the coach from Birmingham Airport direct to Southampton, bit chaotic with people pushing in the queue but got us there efficiently and embarkation was excellent. The ship was larger than we normally go for and a bit confusing to get around sometimes. I think that even after 2 weeks ...

We chose this cruise because we have cruised with P and O A Couple of times before and found them to be great value for money and very well organised. The food on board Azura was in our opinion very good, plenty of choice and of decent quality. Some people moan about the quality but we found it to be what you would get in a good quality restaraunt or pub. The entertainment was first class with the ...

Arrived at Southampton by taxi and unloaded are cases and for the first time in eleven cruises we were ignored by the porters and we eventually gave up and took the cases to the conveyor ourselves. Check in was busy but we were onboard within about thirty minutes. Our cabin on C deck was ready and Rubi our efficient and friendly cabin steward introduced herself. After the safety muster we unpacked ...

Great cruise, spoilt only by the on board smoking policy

Chose this cruise as it was a re-positioning trip and gave us a chance to re-visit the Caribbean. It was out first time on Azura and it was a great ship, but was marred by the smoking policy. Smokers were allowed on the Promenade deck, albeit in a small area, but if you were out walking or jogging, you had to run the gauntlet of smokers puffing away. Similarly, they were allowed to smoke on ...

Very disappointing

Chose the cruise because we wanted to go to some of the Caribbean island we had not previously visited and because we had had a relaxing cruise on Ventura last year. We knew early on that we obviously could not go to St Maarten. Storm Brian delayed us by a day and cutting long story short we had 3 days in the Caribbean - 2 of them on islands we know well. No time in Barbados. No concessions of any ...

To begin with, it’s only fair to say that all things considered, our time with the P&O Azura on this 15 night Caribbean cruise was good. The crew, accommodation, facilities and entertainment were excellent. The restaurant food was most agreeable, however, it took us four days to get the freedom dining that we wanted. Initially, we had been assigned a late sitting, fixed table with fellow diners ...

Here's a quick overview of our cruise for anyone who may be interested. Overall the cruise was very enjoyable.I travelled with my husband It was our 4th time on Azura and my second transatlantic from Southampton The weather was a bit rough for the first few days with force 10 winds and quite a lot of rolling. Thankfully we were both fine and were able to eat and drink as normal We were on ...

We booked this cruise as it fitted the dates and thought we would try P&O for the first time. All in all it was a very pleasant trip with only a couple of issues being dining allocation and front desk staff(see below) Transfers from Gatwick to embarkation in Southampton were provided by P&O and was all very well organised. Embarkation was relatively swift and cabin was ready. Our ...
