So many things to comment on, easier to bullet point:
No silver service at dinner anymore = rushed courses
Lack of vegetables generally = tiny meals
Often had to ask for after dinner mints, water & liqueurs
Forced gratuity = rude and unbothered staff (you can opt out but reception staff quite rude)
No more Jacuzzis ? not allowed under British Law (again, according to reception ...

Firstly, I wanted to give more stars, I really did, but having had my first cruise in 2013 on Oriana which was wonderful, this one was just not worth all the money.

We really didn't know what to expect as this as our first cruise but have no complaints really as we thought it was wonderful and service very good at all times. The decor was fine and we are shocked by some peoples comments about The Arcada as it hasn't been our experience at all. We didn't know what to expect as this was our first cruise.
Southampton: Embarkation was brilliantly organised CPS (Cruise Parking service)
Attendants took our cases from the boot, next time we saw them was in our cabin so for us more relaxing then flying.
Disembarking: I was a bit worried but needn't have been, as we got a note in the cabin telling us what to do on the day.

This cruise took place over New Year, we went in order to get a bit of sunshine. It was not Arcadia's fault sunshine was at a minimum.
So we got to Southampton slightly earlier than our check in time but that was not a problem. Checking in the car was smooth and easy, checking in to board the ship was equally easy.
