We have cruised with p.o very many times and i have to say that we have always had a very enjoyable time, our last cruise was in 2019 we did have three cruises booked after covid but p.o but they were cancelled as we had never been away for a chrismas and new year cruise we transferred one of our outstanding booking to arcadia. Boarding was very quick and easy, after our loyalty lunch we went to ...

First Cruise with P & O and extremely disappointing. Definitely not good value for money. The ship is old and tired. We had a wonderful cabin steward, who was helpful and friendly. Our cabin was clean but in need of a whole refurbishment. The first night we dined in The Meridian, the service was awful, we waited 50 minutes for our starter, then 50 minutes for our main. The wine arrived with ...

This was mine and my husbands first cruise. We had chosen this as our Honeymoon so decided to do the Arcadia as child free and we wanted to see the Northern Lights. I knew this cruise would be older generation (I am 40 and one of youngest there) I had done my research and we booked a year in advance (one so we could save up and have balcony room for space and two so we had plenty of time ...

We have been cruising now for many years and in that time have encountered many events at sea. When choosing a cruise in November from Southampton it is likely we will experience some inclement weather ( it is Autumn/Winter after all ). Storm Ciaran was one such event that kept us in port ( and safe ) for 2 extra days thus impacting the remainder of the trip and missing 3 ports. However, as a ...

OUR MOST EVENTFUL CRUISE - EVER!

My wife and I have been on 25 Cunard cruises and just three on other lines, one on the P&O Iona with the family, so were interested to compare Arcadia with Queen Victoria and Elizabeth. In summary, the ships and their feel are similar, the major differences being the upper decks being accessible on Arcadia but limited to "Grills" class guests on Cunard, so this gives more venues and open deck ...

The cruise was chosen as my partner had been on the ship several times before. The fist statement I will make is the captain whilst he made the right decisions on the seaman ship of the boat a captain of a cruise linner should be more than that. Tne cruise was a 19 Day cruise in the Med. 1st 2 & 3rd day was spent in Southampton due to the weather Correct decision. But 2 ports were cancelled ...

Food repetitive in more ways than one. Real friendly cabin with towel sharing. Once they have you on board they don't want to let you off. Was not informed until the ship was under way that Nova virus is running rampant throughout ship even though we spent 3 days in Southampton because of bad weather. The Crew stud over you like we were children to make sure you wash your donnies and ...

I flew from Houston to London and arrived the day before the cruise. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Heathrow and would highly recommend it. This was my first time on P&O Cruises. It mainly caters to British cruisers and many of the passengers I met have only cruised P&O. Their website states that their Elegant Nights are very formal. Many of the men wore tuxes, but some wore a jacket ...

I chose this cruise due to the lack of single supplement, the fact there were no children aboard, and the interesting itinary. I'd not especially enjoyed some recent cruises, but this adventure restored my faith. It's my third P and O cruise this year, and by far the best. The atmosphere in board was brilliant, with most people seemingly keen to enjoy themselves. This was aided by the staff who ...

Lovely ports of call. Good service. Some staff appeared to be very overworked. On the whole good entertainment. Excellent speakers. Headliners could have been better especially the dancers. Had to ask cabin steward for bed changes. Washing machines, coffee machines, toilets all out of order. Buckets in corridor to collect water when it rained. Corrosion evident on many decks. Ship just ...
