Great start but then fizzled

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary to the British Isles. My husband really wanted to do this cruise, but it was cancelled twice since 2020 due to Covid and then he ultimately lost his battle with colon cancer 4 months ago. My daughter and I booked this cruise to honor his wishes. We booked air thru their promotion and arrived a day early at Heathrow. Flight was on Delta and was ...

We booked NCL cruise air program, our flight to London was cancelled, no help from any NCL personnel, we managed to get on another flight with the help of the American Airline personnel. We contacted the emergency contact number and informed them that we were flighting out on a different airline, we had a transfer to the hotel and our time of arrival in London. When we got to London, our luggage ...

Tacky ship and missed ports

Review for Norwegian Dawn to Europe - All

Very tacky cruise ship. Everything from getting in-room telemarketing calls every second day selling future cruises, to the lack of on-board information about ports, transportation etc.. While they deliver a daily newsletter, very little information about each port or available local transportation or even a map schemata. The newsletter was just an advertising piece for stores and restaurants. ...

We have been on NCL many times and this is the first since pandemic. We expected more. First the food and entertainment was great. The balcony room one needs a ladder to get into the shower. it comes with a tub. The room has not been remodeled since inception. It is old and not modern. The excursions were a disaster. The staff for excursions were limited with workers. looks like put together ...

We rebooked this cruise because we wanted to explore Great Britain and Ireland. We had a real Britain weather so very windy and cold, with some rain on top of it. The on-deck experience was not possible although the swimming pool seamed small for size of the ship. The personal of the ship was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good in the normal, specialty and buffet ...

Loved this cruise. The staff was awesome. The ship was very clean. Shore excursions were nice and the room very clean and comfortable. Very nice vacation. It was easy getting on the ship as well as getting off the ship. We go up early and went to bed early so we did not do a whole lot of entertainment but the few we did were ok. We do not travel a whole lot but everything was explained very well ...

When we landed at London Heathrow, we were able to find Norwegian without an issue. They had a kiosk stand in the middle of the arrivals terminal after baggage claim. We proceeded to the bus to take us to the pier, which was a new pier for the ship to leave from in Southampton. We (everyone going on the bus) left our checked luggage to be transported via truck to the pier. Once we arrived at the ...

We booked this particular cruise due to its itinerary and our previous satisfaction with our Norwegian cruise around Hawaii. Below are our comments. Room: Our balcony room was comfortable and our cabin person Sanjip was perhaps the best we have ever had. The room lacked USB ports and our cabin speaker was broken so we had to open the door to hear announcements. Food: Although the food in ...
