"First the Pros:
Embarkation and debarkation were swift slowed only on debarkation because many non-USA had to be photographed and fingerprinted. The ship still had the ‘new-car’ smell. The Observation Lounge..."Read More

We wanted to take a cruise that would start in Southampton and land in New York. The food, entertainment (Havana, Jersey Boys) and the amenities on the ship was excellent. The staff, seeing that this was a new ship, was very well coordinated, well trained, extremely polite and very efficient. The games that they had during the off night of major stage productions were well presented and executed ...
This was our first ever transatlantic crossing and we wanted to experience this brand new, beautiful ship. We had a great experience and were still very busy everyday of this 12-day cruise. The only thing we didn't do is pay for the Thermal Suite, which I thought was way over priced at almost $20 per day (the Breakaway was $10 per day). The Haven staff was outstanding, the food fantastic, and ...
Well, this is our 10th cruise with NCL and we were not disappointed. We've mainly been on the smaller ships like Jade etc, but did do Epic recently and it kind of worried us as we didn't like that so much. No fear though, the Bliss is excellent.
Design, decor and ambience feel much classier. Beautiful layout, loads of places to relax and watch the world go by.
Service superb as always, ...
We wanted to do a maiden cruise and try a transatlantic to see how we enjoyed extra sea time. It was great! The decor was beautifully understated, mirroring the colors of the sea. It will be amazing in Alaska. Like on many ships, it is more tailored to Alaska than the Caribbean. Gorgeous. Crew were very friendly and offered service above and beyond. (There was one really green waiter at ...
We did the first transatlantic trip on this boat.
The ship is beautiful, the staff attentive and the food was sublime. Well it should be as they had pulled the best of the best crew for this trip. There was some training in evidence and we did have some snagging going on but I personally had no problem with this.
I did have a problem with the extremely limited smoking facility. It was ...
NCL did an amazing job on the Bliss. The observation lounge and race track were great added features. Silas, the cruise director, Mandy, the asst. cruise director, and the rest of the entertainment crew did a great job at keeping everyone's interest at the different activities on board.
The new restaurants were also very good. You won't leave Q or Los Lobos hungry. If you go to Los Lobos, ...
Inaugural cruise, crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The ship was beautiful however only 2300 people were on the ship and you could not get a seat in any of the bars to listen to the music. I was in the Haven and the room was extremely small, never been on anything that small . The room had a bathtub that was so small and curved you could not stand properly I have a problem climbing so I asked for a ...
This was my first transatlantic but I didn't want to miss out being on a brand new ship. We had a great group on the roll call and many events on-board that were set up but ship was the main focus.
First off, the crew was fantastic as always, there were a few hiccups in the newer venues since they were still learning too but everything was easily fixed. The entertainment was great with the ...
The embarkation and disembarkation processes were both fine, no problems or delays at either Southampton or New York. I must confess that the balcony stateroom i received was extremely small (not even 140sqft), wardrobe is just so closed to the bed and very difficult to get in out anything out of it (and i am skinny). Bathroom was ok, no complaints. Dining venues were fine, as the ship has a ...
