OBJECTIVE REVIEW OF IONA

We went to the fjiords on Iona and was not surprised that the last port to see gerainger Fjiord was cancelled as several revies by other cruisers said the same thing. It makes you think that it could be a fuel saving tactic. The ship is fabulous and some of the staff great but not all. Theatre entertainment was repeated two nights so second night no theatre show. EVERYTHING had to be ...

We visited the Norwegian Fjords, staying as a couple in Cabin 5602 (balcony), with 4 other adult family members in adjacent cabins. We have cruised before but with different cruise lines. Itinerary: we were happy with the ports visited and with the 3 shore excursions which we took. Food: two of us are vegetarians and two have severe allergies so cruise food can be tricky. There was ...

My wife and I were looking forward to this cruise as we had heard how excellent Cunard was and it was a great opportunity to see the Norwegian Fjords. The itinerary was great and the excursion in Olden(Fjords and Glaciers) were excellent. To be fair embarkation and disembarkation were well managed. However, many other things were not. We had a Britannia class balcony room. The room in the times ...

Disappointed by trip that yet again has been compromised!

What a disappointment that we missed the last stop of our Norweigan fjord cruise, on Thursday. Sadly, for P & O the passengers who we spoke to around the ship were not impressed and didn't believe our captain's story of the imperative part that needed to be flown in from Italy that would mean we missed our last stopover... We then, had two more sea days, making it a total of 4 days at sea on a ...

This is my 5th cruise and 4th with P and O so have a bit of experience cruising with P and O and I must say that this was the best P and O cruise that I have ever done and also on par with an epic Princess cruise that I have done on the regal princess. Boarding was simple and super-fast. Took 7 minutes from exiting the taxi to getting on the ship!!!!! This must be a record, well done port staff ...

Saga cruise to Norway and Svalbard, July 2022: Covid testing and security was efficient at Southampton. SOA is a beautiful ship, decent sized cabins and bathrooms, with everything you could possibly need and if there is something you need just ask for it. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but the service in the Main Dining Room can be slow at times. You are asked on entry to MDR if ...

Well this was our 4th P&O cruise. We were quite dubious, but it was as good as we expected, considering. The staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to help you. We sailed to the Norwegian Fjords. Embarkation was easy and quick. Our cabin was a standard balcony cabin and was very comfortable. Our steward was really helpful and so pleasant. We ate in the Olive Grove, Sindhu, and the ...

Wonderful Ship But Major Issues Need To Be Addressed

Review for Queen Victoria to Norwegian Fjords

This was our third cruise with Cunard. In fact it was our Honeymoon as we got engaged on the same ship 5 years ago. We LOVE the ship. However, even taking account the issues caused by COVID, there are some major areas that Cunard need to address. DINING OPTIONS These seemed rather limited on this cruise. Cruises are synonymous with offering almost 24 hour dining, however the choices on ...

This was our first time back sailing with P&O since 2004 following a disappointing experience on board one of their ships, we have always wanted to cruise the fjords and with this being a brand new ship decided to give it a try. The ship is massive, much larger than our usual venues but we thought it was well finished and spotlessly clean, we had an aft cabin on deck 10 which was larger than ...
