14-Night Mediterranean cruise -- good experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Although our cruise on Navigator of the Seas was slightly below our previous experiences with Royal Caribbean (Harmony of the Seas , Legend of the Seas, Song of Norway), it was still a positive experience. Overall, our experience and cruise was very positive. Our stateroom (inside with promenade view) was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The toilet would not flush one day ...

Amazing Memories

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

So a group of 6 of us travelled out of Southampton on a 14 night Mediterranean cruise. This was my first cruise from the UK and if I am honest, I am not sure I would do it again. There are definitely pro's to it if you are from the UK like unresricted baggage allowance, the hassle free process of no flights etc, but I do feel the first few day and last few days were ruined by bad weather. I ...

Loyal to Royal Caribbean but standards are not as good as our first cruise.

We have been on 6 cruises with Royal Caribbean and there has been a drop in service and quality since our first cruise. We have just returned from a 14 night Mediterranean cruise May 2018 and despite having a great holiday there has been a drop in standards. Room attendants seem uninterested since tipping became automatic so no need to show any interest in you or their work. Staff in general ...

A nice break

We decided on this cruise as it was my twin sisters and my 60th birthday just before we sailed and it was the only one that we could find that suited all of us (always fun travelling with family). We have been on the Navi before, but my twin sister and her hubby have never cruised, so RCI is a good choice for those that don't really like dressing up too much (my brother in law). It has been 11 ...

Navigating the Atlantic, shame about immigration and early disembarkation...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We chose the Navigator for a change as it was visiting Boston, where we had never been, and overnighting in New York. We have completed many Transatlantics on board Independence and Queen Mary 2 as it’s a convenient way to get to and from Florida. Boarding at Southampton was extremely quick and easy and we were very pleased with our cabin, 9500, which is an enormous family stateroom directly ...

Not overall top quality

We chose this cruise because the other (Jewel) transatlantic 's destination was Puerto Rico. We were stuck with the dates. Entertainment during the long cold crossing was far below our expectations. Nothing at all of intrest. We appreciated the ice skating show and some evening events. Not all. By far The television showed the same programs on and on... Day by day. Library was almost ...

We had cruised with Royal Caribbean before and liked the friendly, relaxed atmosphere on board. I agree with another post that the food in the Main Dining Room was not as nice or varied as it was last year so we ate in the Windjammer most nights and that was fine and always possible to find something we liked. We try and avoid School Holidays but still there were lots of children aboard. As much ...

Great Family Cruise

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Just returned from an excellent family cruise around the Canary Islands. We were a group of 6 adults and one very young child occupying three staterooms No. 8368 a port side aft balcony, No. 8690 an aft balcony and No. 1655 an internal virtual Balcony. The port side balcony was very roomy with a 4 seat couch. The aft balcony stateroom was rather restricted in size for the 2 adults and a small ...

Great fun, but a bit Holiday-Camp.

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

A good 2nd RC cruise, generally. The ship is lovely; there's lots to do. The food is great, the staterooms nice and the staff/service are amazing. Sadly it's getting quite Butlins. For the price, it's less swish and luxurious than you'd imagine, especially compared to other lines. Whilst it was fun, it was over-crowded, and quite ropey in-parts, where activities/entertainment were aimed ...

R ecommended by others! They are cruiser experts! Entertainment and activities were great for our extended family! The staff were always friendly and happy whoever and wherever you went! The ship as clean and bright. Stateroom had a high standard of cleanliness. Food amazing with great selection whether canteen style or fine dining, can personally recommend The Chefs Table £63 each extra. Going ...
